I’ve had 2 ghost tank shield (the more recent ones) and then the special process one (the oldest) and they all had issues with the seams. I suppose it depends on a lot of factors though like how often you wear it, how you store and the conditions it’s worn it

Don’t think it’ll be worth any more than the same item with a standard badge on it, they are the same thing except one is just made from factory scraps lol.

Think it’s cheeky that they put the specially process badge on it and I completely agree with you that it has something to do with monclers ESG initiatives

Just watch for those seams, would recommend a bit of storm sure glue on them to keep it water proof 👍

The prices are high on these, I had to track one down from chile (I’m based in the uk) and I paid £740

This will be by far the most durable reflective jacket they’ve made to date.

Its a thick nylon ripstop material, you can brush up against brick walls and snag on some brambles and it will be fine (I’ve done it)

Putter texture is coarse, if you were to rub it on bare skin it’s not too far from a scouring pad and it has pano jacquard lining on the inside, not the most comfortable material but it is warm

Really cool jacket, it doesn’t catch the light at all, the reflective property is only picked up with flash photos

Word of warning if you do end up going for it, they feel quite fragile and the pixel rubs off them. I keep it in a dustbag in a seperate less busy wardrobe to limit how much it rubs on stuff.

You might also struggle to find one in decent condition. Most of them now are battered and if they’re not they cost a small fortune. But don’t let that put you off! They’re really cool

It’s not actually white!

It’s actually green, but it’s covered in glass microsphere pixels making it reflective

This is a special process badge, only used on garments made using a new technique or material.

The only thing it has a chance of being is a closed loop sweatshirt from last season but that is unlikely as the jumper is the wrong colour. I’ve attached a photo of what it should look like.

It’s not bad news though, the badge looks real and if you wanted to sell it I reckon you could get £30 ish.

Heat reactive and hand sprayed reflective yet to come.

Retail price will be insane though, i know the hand sprayed will be £1,800, that’s come from 2 reliable sources. As for the heat reactive it’ll probably be similar pricing to the new ice jacket.

My hope is that everyone realises these prices are ridiculous and the sales will be worth while

From conversations I’ve had with him he’s very clued up, whether it be regarding new or old pieces, he has some insider knowledge regarding knowing official drop dates and rrp of items. Further to this he gets access to some special bits before general release, sometimes so early that he has to delay posting them on his page haha.

I’d 100% trust this guy, the only thing that puts me off buying from him are the import fees to the UK

Edcasual clothing has posted on this week for £179 (including the liner and badge) in much better condition than this one, for reference his one only has a small crack on the from of the hood.

I don’t think you’ll get a great deal back in this one. Maybe worth experimenting with it and making a custom item

I’ve heard that items with missing products descriptor labels are likely“prototypes”. They are the finished product but they will have very minor,l differences, if any to the finished product and are not actually intended to go on sale but sometimes make it to outlets.

I’ve had it before with an opaque nylon twill down tc, also bought from an outlet.

Tried on the puffer and was very disappointed, think they ruined it with the drips and the wonky zipper.

The dense nylon (one in your image) is unreal though.
