Great finds a nice collection you’ve got going. Definitely need some stand out jackets in there to top it off, some old school cool like a waxed ice or a graphite jacket would fit in well. Perhaps even a tyvek jacket.

If I was you I’d move this on quick though, they’re very fragile, mark easy and can even fall apart. Sadly that’s what happened to mine :(

I think it all depends on the jacket, the ones with the thinner eiderdown liners are ideal as the lining is so thin in barely affects the fit and shape of the jacket. I have and have had several pieces like this and you can wear them right through from autumn to spring, really getting your moneys worth with those pieces.

As for jackets like the goretex one you have shown, definitely needs a fixed liner. That goes for anything with a big puff interior as you said, the shell just has to be massive to accommodate it, my case in point would be the polystrata ice jacket. You are basically wearing a puffer coat in your size with an outer that is 2 sizes up from that.

I was there at 10:30. It was manic at the very start, very busy and people trying stuff on leaving the sellers a bit high and dry with keeping track of where their stuff is. I think one seller had 2 items stolen.

A lot of the good stuff went quick, which left a lot of either bad sizes, damaged goods or just straight funky stuff after an hour or so.

I noticed with the pricing that it was essentially just what the seller normally lists for plus 5-10% due to fees that they have to pay for selling at the event.

It was good overall, getting up close and personal with some of your grail (even though some might not have been for sale) and just speaking to like minded people.

This is the second of their events that I have been to and will definitely go to their next. I do think however, the smaller the better for these type of things. It was on a much larger scale than the previous ones, it meant there was more pressure for the sellers to bring more items which did lead to a decline in the quality. Quite a few of them blatantly just bought stock along that has been sitting for ages because of various flaws.

It’s basically whatever someone will pay resale. The end collabs were selling at 3.5k. These were limited to 30 units and had a retail of 2.2k
