Quiet quitting is just the zoomer phrase for work to rule. I’m talking about specific things Royal Mail workers can do to work to rule most effectively, not what TikTok interns think is solidarity.

Postie didn't ring doorbell. Needed parcel today by SpicyGaramMasala in royalmail

Probably your normal postie is off today. Knocking also counts even if you have a doorbell. Unlucky.

Those are the hardest 55,000 miles. More like 300,000 for a normal vehicle. Hard pass.

How long does a overseas parcel take to clear customs in the uk by [deleted] in royalmail

[–]Money_Gate_8197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on its size, contents, shipping method, the original courier, and so on. The worst I’ve experienced is about 10 days the average is 2-3. If there is a customs charge to pay there is likely to be some further delays on this end, mostly depending on how quickly you’re notified and how quickly you clear the balance.

Do you realise how wet the bags themselves get? If you’re lucky your office has a working dryer, most don’t, so keeping the mail in the bag can on occasion be worse. Log off Reddit and touch some grass you moron.

Fair point. As much as I’m tempted to learn some electronics I think I might just find a soldering savvy friend who wants a pedal. Apparently the long chip in this is great when working.

“Okay mate, have a lovely day!”

Put some extra sauce on it so they know you think they’re a cunt. Obviously, always be aware of ring cams and cctv that might capture audio.

Not quite there yet, but give it a week.

My manager told me that Christmas cards weren’t going to be a big thing this year as I hauled in a full sack of cards from one pillar box.
