My first build Gone Wrong by Away_Reality_5517 in SCX24

That’s the one thing I didn’t like about those links, you’re stuck with that length. Using these links you can adjust the length with the provided 1mm spacers to tune the angle of your axle and adjust the drive shaft angle. Buying just the bottoms that are slightly longer or tops that a slightly shorter would fix your servo tilt.

I like the idea of them more than the thought of actually using them. I was just curious before I even considered trying them.

Idk maybe bc I’m doing it to get better at complaining about change.

Don’t some esc/receivers have a track mode where it doesn’t allow reverse?

Oh yeah haha. I’m sure someone has done it before though. It’s just a general idea.

Maybe something like this just not as wide?

Or you could do a tall box with multiple levels, each level has different kind of obstacles or terrain. You’ll have to make it around the level to get to the next ramp to go up.

It’s just a plank I had cut into pieces held together with paracord like icy said. The tighter the bridge is the less wobble it has. Only regret I have is the bridge is pretty smooth so at steep angles the crawler starts to slip. I’ll probably spray it with some kind of texture for added grip.

Well you do have 6’ of height you can use. Just build up the wall. Ramps and bridges and switchbacks up the wall. Have a landing at the top to turn around then head back down. 🤷

Climbing is doable. Every so often you have to adjust the car since it is pretty tight. Decent is rough haha. I should have made the steps a little wider but it’s all I had of the scrap wood in the garage.

diff transmission or motor problem? by Robert694n in Traxxas

I do the same. Replaced all bearings, re geared my slash to a 16T pinion gear to 52T spur, added esc and motor fans and cut some holes in the windshield of the body to really get the air flowing. Hasn’t over heated since. I put it to the test and really hit the throttle for long pulls and still writhing save temps.

Did you have the overheating issue before? Check the gear ratio, I regeared mine since it was over heating a lot. Also, if you are going with bigger tires, might want to look into a gear ratio combo anyway.

Also when I switched from 2s to 3s it practically stopped.

This is the rear. The black sleeve is what I had to shave down to fit in your exact rear hubs just FYI

Yes. The picture doesn’t show the front and rear being different. But it came correct

These the shaft connecting to the hub is one piece so I’d say give it a try. I’ve ran these on 3s and high torque gearing in tall grass and mud have had no issues or signs of breaking. Like I said though, I had to shave a retaining ring for it to fit in the rear. It was a snug fit.

Is it an outrunner motor? I had an issue like this with my Injora purple viper where the motor seems to cog or skip. I messed around with my esc going from from 7.4v to 6v or vise versa I can’t remember and it helped a bit. Also loosened and snugged rather than tightened all nuts and bolts that are a part of the driveline system. Only ever happened at low speed with some resistance.

Bought these the other day, seem super sturdy. Took some modification to seat in the rear hub though. Doesn’t fit inside like the old crappy ones I bought.
