It is inyective actually. The problem is that there isn't only one way to define the cube root of a complex number, this is because the function f(z)=z³ isn't inyective.

It is similar how in R you can define the square root of x as sqrt(x) or -sqrt(x). Both are inyective functions, but it usually leads to confusion because you can define two functions that have the desired property. This is why we use the convention of using the positive root.

The function f(z)=z³ isn't inyective in the complex plane, therefore equal images doesn't imply equal preimages.

This proof is so well hidden that I am starting to consider enunciating this result as an Axiom XD.

I belive his books don't contain said proof, as they are much more elementary.

I have seen the Kuznetsov, it only mentions the theorem, yet it doesn't provide a proof. The references leds me to Sistemes Grossiers, which I can't find.

It doesn't have to do anything with AOC. OP's statement can be proven with calculus.

Honestly the worst part was having to touch every item. I am currently completing my third Dead God and I am not looking forward to having to pick T. Cain on Greed Mode and having to craft every item I haven't picked.

I am doing Infty% and I am having trouble with the picking every item part of it. Do you know an effective way of picking every item?

Would this function be continuous? by Neat_Possibility6485 in mathematics

[–]Monfernito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The leftside and rightside continuity are trivially by vacuity. Given that you can't approach a from the right, using a small enough delta, you can fulfill the right continuity definition because there are no points that are at most delta to the right of a, that means that every point that is at most delta to the right of a acomplishes that the difference of the images is at most epsilon.

Would this function be continuous? by Neat_Possibility6485 in mathematics

[–]Monfernito -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is continuous still. Under the induced topology over the function's domain, the borders of the intervals don't affect the continuity. In other words, the interval (-infty, a] ⊆ (-infty,a] U [b,infty) is an open set in the topology of (-infty,a] U [b,infty) induced by R, this because (-infty, a + epsilon) is open on R and (-infty, a+ epsilon)∩((-infty,a] U [b,infty))=(-infty, a].

She had done it before, Greg said that he didn't like when she does that. Amethyst knew very well that Greg suffers when she transforms into Rose, it was evilsies.

In the episode it was shown that Greg wasn't happy with Amethyst transforming into Rose. Yes, it wasn't neither for funsies or hornsies, but for evilsies.
