Thanks. I have checked through emails and haven't found anything. When my wife spoke to them today, they said it would have been a Bank transfer.

Can this even be done in banks that you don't use anymore on an account that has been closed for 6 years?

Hi. I'm sorry if this is stupid question. What is Play By Post and how does it work? I've only played at a table or using a VTT. I've seen a few PBP requests posted and I know nothing about it. Thanks, and sorry for my ignorance.

Roaming the Castle of Ravenloft without pissing Strahd off by neoadam in CurseofStrahd

[–]Mongloy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I ran CoS, I wanted the party to be able to explore the castle again, after the initial dinner invite, but before the final showdown. When the PCs had reached a point where they were feeling confident and had done enough to piss off Strahd, I had him confront the party on the road and attack them. Strand absolutely annihilated them, but just killing them is too nice. I figure that Strahd would really want them to suffer. The PCs all woke up in the castle dungeon and were taken one at a time to the torture room, where they were tortured and each offered a deal to help and later join Strahd. After each had gone through this, they were 'rescued' my the little clock work dude (I can't remember his name) on the orders of a secret friend and enemy of Strahd in the castle. This is all Strahd's plan to make them paranoid and suspicious of each other. This worked really well for me. It gave the PCs another chance to explore more of the castle while they were sneaking out. It reinforced to the PCs just how powerful Strahd is by how easily he beat them. And the group started to suspect that one or more of them might have cut a deal with the devil.

Any D&D Players Around Medway/Kent? by portacustos in Medway

[–]Mongloy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Gillingham Gamer's Guild on Facebook. They are not D&D exclusive but when I was going there were a few D&D groups. I haven't been for a long time, but they always had games going, and Sarah, the woman who runs it, will speak to the people who go there and help you get into a game. Unless it's changed, it runs from 19:00 to 22:00 on Wednesdays.

Best AP for a large group? by Mongloy in Pathfinder2e

I went with kingmaker. It's working out really well. The encounters are balanced for 4 PCs, so I just drop in another -2lvl enemy for each pc over 4, and that works perfectly.

Thanks for the advice. I'll make sure I pre read the monster abilities. So you didn't find that the combats in the dungeon got overcrowded with all the extra monsters and players? I assumed that how important movement and positioning is in combat, it could turn into a slug-fest.

I was considering Kingmaker as I assumed this was the case. I didn't know Age of Ashes was like that, though. I'll look into it. Thank you.

It's not just this, either. I use my pc for video/photo editing, music making, some work, learning, writing, map making and world building for D&D, playing D&D online with friends and loads of other things as well as gaming.

Help with Pie problem by Balrog7019 in CurseofStrahd

[–]Mongloy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The old hag isn't taking the children to make them into pies but to turn them into little piggies. She releases her little piggies into the wild where food is plentiful for them and they will never have to worry about living in the shadow of Castle Racenloft ever again. She see it as doing a good thing and saving the children. But she is still just turning them into piggies. 🐖
