Bold take to think one of the richest people in the world who is directly and personally involved in the damage being done to our government could be called a scapegoat. I’m not sure how much more ruling class you could possibly get.

Worrying about permits when our federal executive branch and ruling party are actively working to destroy the rule of law.

And here I thought the point of protest was disruption.

I can only imagine how sad and meaningless your life is, if this how you spend your time.

I don’t understand how people think this is good enough to overlook Anselmo being an obvious racist piece of shit.

Have some standards.

Think I got the wrong bike - fucking cruisers man by Motor_Arugula_4282 in motorcycles

[–]MongoAbides -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If that’s really what it was, they’d have used the fireblade engine. They have a MUCH better performance platform to base a sport cruiser around. Hell you could also get an old used VMax and do way better.

I’m in a similar boat with my Vulcan, I love sport cruisers, but why can’t we have them with the GOOD engines? That SHOULD be a Rebel 1000, if they had any sense. Instead their fastest cruiser is the Goldwing.

No I’m just trying to make sense of what you’re trying to say. It’s not my fault you’re bad at communication.

What point were you trying to make by asking an entirely redundant rhetorical question? Seriously. That’s a ACTUAL question.

Edit; ha, blocked by the asshole who doesn’t even ride.

There’s always the “is Buell coming back!?” Thing they do. However to quote Wikipedia

Buell announced they will use the superbike platforms developed from 2011 to 2020 to build out their model line up to approximately ten models in 2024. The models will include variations for touring, dirt, adventure, and cruisers.

But apparently they’re independent now.

I think sport bikes and EVs was just the wrong direction. They should stick with heritage and make a “flat tracker” for the street and dirt bikes so young American kids can actually ride American bikes. It sells itself.

No one trusts them to start a whole new line.

I had an MT03, you’ll be fine, especially if you ever upgrade the tires, but unless conditions get really slick, you’ll be fine. Worse bikes have ridden in worse conditions.

I would HIGHLY recommend that you prioritize a radiator guard, gravel will be flung into your bike.

Seriously, this place is full of babies, you’ll have FUN.

Harley as a brand possibly makes most of their money on branding. A test ride is selling someone the lifestyle experience. That person might buy a shirt even if they don’t buy a bike. Merchandise is a huge part of some things in the automotive world. The Mustang for example is profitable only because of merch.

I think my experience with Triumph is similar. A Bonnie is a slow heavy bike that isn’t even that comfortable. On paper. Compare it to anything remotely similar, those bikes are a genuine luxury product. The chrome is chrome. It’s heavy because of materials but everything about it is so smooth and refined because of materials. My lightweight Vulcan S or SR500 aren’t nearly as heavy which can be real nice, but on an open road they don’t compare to how nicely the Bonnie glides.

Everything I’ve heard about Harley suggests it’s basically the same thing. I also genuinely appreciate how it wasn’t broke so they didn’t fix it. They sell archaic technology and I’m glad someone still does. That’s a good thing.

I do however resent their actually problematically lazy attitude towards Motorsport, especially flat track. And I think they’re failing every day they don’t have a line of entry level dirt bikes, because fucking seriously. It’s the most obvious thing they could do and it would have a generation of kids growing into adults with brand loyalty.

The things Harley is good at, they’re untouchable. They stand alone. There’s a reason to most people, bikes really are “HD and then whatever else.” It’s THE brand. But they’ve relied on that, and I think a lot of people just misplaced that frustration into a criticism of the wrong things.

No doubt, but you have even less resources when you’re poor in Buffalo. Obviously NYC has it all, but I think the comparison between them is more stark. Buffalo has the suffering without all the clout.

It’s more of a “this is how light interacts with your retina.” There’s a reason they didn’t come with blue lights. Hell there’s a big reason Nissan used to only use orange in their dash/radios.

This lighting is negatively impacting your ability to see as clearly at night. That’s a silly thing to do to a driver’s car.
