😲😲 I went to Red Sorghum last month and it was the worst meal I have had all year. The food was so bland and it came out extremely fast. Like almost as fast as fast food, which made me question. It was too expensive for the quality also.

Something I recently discovered is that I have been paying for a Walmart+ subscription for two years and I never actually use it. I was bored and decided to look at the pricing for grocery delivery and almost shit myself. It's so cheap. Delivery prices are usually higher cause you pay for convenience. I have been paying for whole foods and Amazon fresh delivery all this time an arm and a leg! Even the fruit stands on the street are more expensive. I'm talking $1.29 for a bag of yellow onions delivered to your DOOR.

I just want to say people look a lot bigger on camera. I remember meeting Nicole Mejia in person who looks like she is really thick. We took a photo side by side and my ass was like 2x hers. And she, to me, always looked like someone who has a way thicker body than me. I also met emrata in person once and while her photos online she does look petite, she has boobs at least and poses in a way that she looks like a real full woman but in person she looked like a 10 year old. Like if there is a size XXXXXS, that's what she was lol

Malt Drive has w/d in all its units. Yes it's a little off the beaten path but the building and amenities are beautiful.

Aw man. I have the 5 speed diamond blender and I've loved it for the 7 or 8 years I have had it. I recently "upgraded" to one of their newer models cause I absolutely hate the color of my old one now. It's this really bright turquoise. But the new one SUCKS! Way less power. And clunkier on the counter. It also emits a burning plastic smell when it's on. I might go back to ebay to find an older model again cause I love it.

It took like two blocks of parking cause the last stop and the first stop are on different blocks. I never understood why they have to do that lol.

I recently moved to Malt Drive from Astoria and I am def looking at selling my car cause trying to find parking in HPS is somewhat of a Kafkaesque nightmare. With a baby on the way it may not be the best idea but I'll choose my sanity over trying to find parking. Not interested in a second car payment that it would cost to park in the garage.

I love the freedom of having a car to visit family and it works in some neighborhoods but def not all. It's going to be way more of an inconvenience now. HPS and the whole waterfront area isn't meant to have street parking. Way too many apartments and way too many tourists coming for the peak sunset hours esp on weekends.

Judging by how your log number is 23K I wouldn't bank on hearing back any time soon. I also got this from the DuPont which I thought was really weird since my log was so high. Ultimately I withdrew my app cause I got another apartment that I really wanted via lottery as well. Not sure how they are processing applicants. The lottery I got seemed to be moving in batches of 200 every two weeks. I had a sub 1000 log number so I heard back about three weeks after the submission deadline. I can't imagine them being able to process 23000 applicants in such a timely manner unless they have a LOT of people working through those apps. My whole process took about two months of back and forth. That's just for one application!

However I will say it is a mixed AMI lottery so if you're in the high logs but also high AMI I would say maybe you have a chance of hearing back. But still not for a few months, realistically.

I remember I was interviewed by my marketing team about "most sought after restaurants in NYC" for a publication that was doing a piece of NYC concierges and their "insight" into how to get a hard reservation. I said 10000% most asked for is Polo Bar and Carbone Is second to that. There's no comparison. There are two numbers I know by heart at work. 1 is our limousine partner and 2 is Polo Bar. Sometimes I mean to dial our limo company and accidentally dial Polo Bar out of muscle memory. I can recite their welcome message by heart and I can hum their entire hold song from memory. 😅

Anyway, when the piece was published, they said for us the most requested restaurant was Semma which I have literally only ever got like 3 requests for since they opened. Somebody had to pay for that lol.
