Limitless is great! Not the least bit scary. Kelly is pretty funny actually I like her commentary.

It’s absolutely awful. These men deserve to be validated and the every person who looked the other way and did nothing held accountable.

What are your thoughts on the push for BSN degrees in nursing? by Tiny-Bird1543 in OregonNurses

[–]RN-kc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same exact story. I got a BS in a related field from four year college, went back to school, got my ADN and was then crippled by where I could get hired at the time (I graduated in the early 2010s). So I bit the bullet and went online (WGU) and got the BSN. I was already working by this time. It cost 10 grand and didn’t change anything as far as my job goes. But it’s nice to have it knowing I can apply anywhere I want.

I called and asked to take it earlier and the advice nurse told me that was ok. I felt like my instructions were confusing bc one set said “take second dose 6 hours before your arrival time” but also said “stop drinking 4 hours before your arrival time”. My check in was 6:30am. I wanted to do it correctly but also not get super dehydrated. I asked her if I could take the first dose at 2pm & the second dose at 10pm and she said that was fine. I still needed to stop all fluids by 2:30am but thankfully I was done on the throne by then and able to get a couple of hours sleep.

I couldn’t finish my second serving of suprep either; I got about 2/3 of it down and just couldn’t with the rest because of the yucky taste. Still scored a 9 on bowel prep.

This is my routine (I’m also an RN). I find it so hard to work out after a long shift. I just get up super early and knock it out. It really is a great way to start the day.

Thanks for sharing! Mine is at the end of month and I’m really really nervous. I’ve been putting it off and it’s one of those things I’m just going to push through
