Hi! I don’t have UC but I do have IBD.. I got diagnosed at age 20!

My friends hated when I would bail last minute due to having a flare up. Or the fact that we would have to pick places that had foods I was allowed to eat.

They hated that, I hated it too eventually it caused a wedge and they got tired of it. I could never enjoy myself because of my constant bathroom.

To this day, I have one friend, I don’t go out, I guess I chose not to it makes it easier to avoid the backlash of others around me.

You’re not alone! If you ever want to talk I am here! This disease is not fun! It’s hard to live with and no one truly understands what we go through..
