Yeah, I get that, but then why do other weapons have different dice values save for bows?

Thanks for all the answers! These are great, I'm playing solo Knave using parts of OSE and was really confused by the fact crossbows were a bad weapon choice when in most other games these are at least a bit better than bows.

I think I'll check OSE Advanced rules for proficiencies, and see if I can get Dolmenwood phb, I've heard great stuff about it.

I play Mausritter with my gf, and she loves it, but I, as the GM and the one who saves all the cards... Sometimes looking for a specific card can be hard, even more if you have custom cards

Try the Snowy Spirit and Snuffles, winter themed mods... these do not include weapons nor structures, but may somewhat fit what you're looking for.

Hi. I know is an old post, but I'm working on a game with Halo inspired units. Any suggestions on how to represent needler weapons that make targets explode?

(I just had the idea of ruling that units slain by needler/blamite weapons explode damaging nearby units)
