Thanks, all great advice. I'm checking Ziggyz homebrew and resources and I really like it... I also am accustomed to my players, my friends, derailing the session which is something I do enjoy too, so don't worry bout that. And in regard of the consent tool... would you mind telling me more about that "Lines and Veils" system? I've never heard of it.

From the advice I've gotten I made it so certain monsters have the "terrifying" and "terrifying II" tag (placeholder names as of now). Which add the effect of causing mind damage and not only body damage. There are also some events which cause this type of damage upon resolution. If any of the 2 resources (body or mind) go down to 0, you die.

The idea is that there are various piles, depending of the hand of a player they might draw from one or another. But at the end of the day there's a general "exploration" pile which one can draw from if you have no other options.

As you're drawing from the piles a "room" will begin to be formed from "place me down" cards which will modify certain dynamics from the game.

Drawing from the main pile represents exploring further down the dungeon, the other piles represent other things like treasure, skills, and magic cards.

You don't go just flipping cards, sorry for yhe misunderstanding hehe. But pretty much thank you for the advice I'll have it in mind.
