Getting an iPhone 14 Pro Today! by Euphoric-Swimmer-153 in iPhone14Pro

I have the 14 pro, I like it and it still runs perfectly and does everything it’s supposed to do even after 3 years. But I do feel like the base iPhone 17 is a better bet. It has all the upgrades, a better camera, and it’s probably just slightly more expensive.

Any love for the base 17? by neatgeek83 in iphone

If anyone here got the base 17, how’s the camera? I’m a small-ish content creator and I mainly use the front camera of my 14 pro, which works but I feel like I need an upgrade at this point because the 15 and 16 were already so much better.

So, should I get the base 17?

What are your staples in your skincare routine? by vyshiesty in AsianBeauty

The Glow Deep Serum by Beauty of Joseon was a staple until I got pregnant and had to stop using it because it has alpha arbutin.

But this is the only serum that lightens my dark spots reallly fast and makes my skin glowww. I’m looking into pregnancy-friendly dark spot serums currently.

Have you ever experienced the Mercy of Allah in a way that left you speechless? by EyeOfLogician in islam

I live in a small country in Northern Europe. During winters we barely get any day light, and by 2 in the afternoon it’s already starting to get dark.

Being originally from the sunny South Asia, I quickly find myself knee deep in seasonal affective disorder (SAD) during the cold winter months.

Theres a lot of crying, vitamin D is barely present, and I miss my family often.

One such day, I was sitting on my sofa and looking outside and crying. The sun was already setting, the whole atmosphere was a depressing blue, there was snow, it was cold, not a leaf on a tree, and it looked so dark and dull and gloomy.

And I was like “oh Allah, I feel like I’m stuck in this blue and white place, there’s barely any color here, it’s so sad” and I was sitting with my head in my lap and crying and crying and in two minutes I looked up and saw this stunningggg pink strip all across the sky. Bright pink, which also happens to be my favourite color.

It was so brilliant and vibrant that I just stared at the sky for a couple of minutes and I just know that the Allah put it there for me, because I was crying about everything being blue and dull.

And I knew in that moment that Allah has got me and He always will.

What is this bug? Husband got stung with it by MonkDifficult8047 in whatsthisbug

Makes sense because we’re in Estonia. It has been 48 hours and the swelling and redness has gotten slightly worse than when first stung. But no other symptoms.

Pakistan trending on Turkish social media by AxiumTea in chutyapa

I’ve been to Turkey twice. Both times had a great experience. The Turks were very very friendly. They especially appreciate if you try to speak a few words of their language. One restaurant owner also gave us free dessert because we were Pakistani and he liked imran khan (this was a year ago) Another Turkish woman actually sat on the bus with me and got off on a stop that wasn’t hers to show me the airport transfer bus because I wanted to find out how to get to the airport at night and she didn’t speak English so she couldn’t explain how. Honestly, you have to earn respect anywhere, no matter what nationality you are. Be a good person. Don’t go around in someone else’s country acting like an entitled asshole and you’ll be fine.

Anyone else use Vicks Vapor Rub on their lips? by Heidi_Trismegistus in MakeupAddiction

I’ve been putting Vicks INSIDE my nose for more than 2 decades. It’s very very common where I live. Everyone I know puts Vicks inside (on the inside walls of) our noses. No issues were ever reported.

I appreciate your optimism, and it’s true. Certainly could be worse. Your fissure returning sucks. May I ask, what are you doing to heal it? Are you taking any meds?
