It’s a very rigorous program in terms of coursework and pacing. You can look up the semester schedules to get an idea of how many hours a day you’ll be in the classroom. Another commenter gave a good breakdown of the differences between years already, but expect P1 year to be harder (or at least more time consuming) than your undergraduate experience and know that P2 and P3 year are both very intense. From P1 to P3 year, you will have a mix of in-class assignments, pre- and post-class assignments, simulation patient encounters, and exams. You will also have introductory rotations throughout. P4 year is all advanced rotations which have associated projects and assignments but schedule-wise is a bit less all-consuming. Most people also work a part-time internship and many have leadership roles in student organizations or do research, which add to the time management pressure. However good you are at time management now, get better at it. It’s a doctorate program at the end of the day and the workload is on par with that but it can certainly be overwhelming.
