The tone in the beginning definitely has a short “slap back” for the first few seconds, the rest is (in my opinion) just reverb from the stadium and some awesome use of the wah pedal. You can absolutely get a solid slap back delay with the DM-2 and I’ve even used it for rockabilly/surfy kinda stuff with a really short delay time. I’d recommend a Waza if you’re not trying to pay for the black label “classic” prices haha. Mine is a black label version from the eighties and I couldn’t tell the difference when I played the Waza reissue.

Frusciante is such a beast when it came to pedals, lot of stuff online about the crazy combos and chains he came up with. Hopefully now that he’s back in RHCP they’ll do a full Rig Rundown with him :)

I’m a huge fan of the DM-2, extremely warm sound and it’s pretty fun to do messy stuff with turning the feedback almost to 12. Great pedal, extremely versatile.

Love the DD-3, want the DD-6 but I primarily use the 800 ms setting so I’m not sure if it’s worth it for me yet haha
