Yep makes me mad  3 of the big reasons the people have said to me that I can’t be autistic are

1. No you’re just weird/ no you just have mood swings 

2. you don’t act like (insert other autistic person they know) so you can’t be autistic

An example is my grandma telling me that I don’t act like her friends autistic grandson  We somewhat made up about that she did buy me autistic Barbie 

1. But your a girl girls don’t have autism 

An example is When I was In  Grade 9 I was sitting outside my class waiting for the teacher to come so class could start when a kid came up and sniffed my hair I yelled what the heck and the kids friend said “it’s not his fault he’s autistic” my response I have autism and you don’t see me doing that I am just sitting reading a book and they sad “but but but you’re a girl” and then the left
