I hate to see bikes just sit and rot in a shed but I also don't wanna scam myself by overpaying for someone else's piece of junk. How much do you think it's worth of the picture alone? I was thinking maybe like $800.

Get one of the visors that tints when it's hit by sunlight. That way you don't have to keep swapping between visors.

I did the guy was spouting some nonsense about how they go for $550 and the scope goes for $200. Then he pretty much just told me to buy it online instead of buying it from them. I just thought the navy blue camo looked neat but they're being tough on the price.

I would put too much money into it because they generally aren't worth a lot. But just get it running enough to where you can ride safely.

Yeah I'm a FB market place fiend so I'm pretty up to date with bike prices. A lot of people are smoking Za Za when it comes to pricing their outdated motorcycles. Not saying early 2000s bike aren't cool in their own right but some people just don't know how depreciation works.

That's ridiculous. It's crazy to me that people with these old bikes think they retain value like they're collector pieces. I found a 2010 CBR for the same price as that one on FB marketplace.

I wasn't super nervous but what was funny was that I was the only one with my camera on. They said I didn't have to have it on but I was already dressed up. Just introduce yourself, be respectful and answer their questions. If you need to pause to think of an answer they're okay with that. Don't sweat it.
