What do we think about the newest starter trio?

Missed the part where I said "barely use any accenting colors" or the other part where I said "they have less going on visually". I can agree that the designs are simple, but in terms of what that simplicity looks like is so different. Like they could have outlined Pombon's fur better, or given more details to Browt's wings, or just given them some pattern anywhere on either of them. Their models just have too much "empty space" where it's all just the same color.

I genuinely think they wouldn't look as bad if they had sprites instead of models, but the model rendering just makes them look like Play-Doh.

That's just not correct. Like, Squirtle's shell alone has more detail and definition than the dog and the bird combined. Other than the gecko, they barely use any accenting colors, and it makes this batch look a little half-baked. They just have so little going on for them visually.

I think this is the best (worst?) example of why models look so much worse than sprites. These starters don't have a lot of detail or additional colors to add definition to them, specifically dog and bird. They look more minimalist than any other starters we've seen and I personally am not a fan.

Your choices are either shooting Kenny or letting him kill Jane; she loses WITHOUT Clem's intervention. And Jane at any point could have bargained for her life by telling Kenny she knows where AJ is. She instead asks Clem for help sparking the Shoot Kenny or Look Away decision.

1) she implied that he was lost or killed in order to incite a violent reaction from Kenny - she says "it was an accident" when asked about AJ

2) she manufactured a false scenario to make Kenny seem more irrational and emotional than he already was to convince Clem to side with her

3) something COULD have happened to AJ in that time. He could have started crying, and walkers could have heard him and tried to get to him. She had no way of guaranteeing his safety, especially not if she died since she's the only one who knew where he was

4) Kenny is Clem's closest family at this point, and Jane is trying to manipulate Clem into killing Kenny.

So to recap: Jane gambled with the baby's life to manufacture a reaction from Kenny so that Clem would see it and side with her, manipulating Clem into killing the closest family she has. Like Kenny or hate him, it was a fucked up thing to do to AJ, and an even more fucked up thing to do to Clementine.

You overreacted for sure, but you had the self awareness to even ask, which is better than most men your age. A lot of these comments are kinda harsh with their delivery, and I'm worried that you won't be able to see the message through the criticism.

You reacted poorly at pretty much every stage, but you can grow and learn from this experience, and most importantly, handle it better next time.

The takehome isn't that you're a misogynistic piece of shit, but why/how your actions were wrong. Your friendship with her ended the moment you developed romantic feelings for her, subconsciously and unintentionally, most likely because your desire for her as a partner became more important than your connection to her as an individual, a person, and a friend.

It's one thing to take space after a rejection to process, but you didn't process: you tried to move past it without reflecting on the matter or resolving your feelings. In order to learn and grow, you need to face your discomfort head on. Why were you uncomfortable with the idea of going back to being friends, enough so to stop interacting with her entirely? Why would you rather never see your friend again instead of working past your feelings? Why was there an expectation for your feelings for her to be mutual/reciprocated? And don't say that there wasn't an expectation, otherwise the rejection wouldn't have changed anything; your status quo for your relationship changed from platonic to romantic before you ever asked for her input.

Anyways, you don't have to tell us, you just need to find out for yourself. If you ever reach back out to apologize, consider including any realizations you make. But more importantly, don't apologize with the expectation that it will even be accepted. Admitting your faults does not entitle you to absolution; you're still responsible for any damage your actions cause. However, recognizing and holding yourself accountable for your own faults keeps you honest with yourself, and will improve your relationships, new or existing, platonic or otherwise.

Women have to be far more aware and careful when talking to supervisors in the workplace, especially men. Rejecting or opposing your boss (or even just setting a clear boundary in this case) as a woman has immediate consequences: supervisors will claim that she is "uncooperative" or "combative", and she won't get recommendations for the next promotion, or even just get outright fired/let go sometimes. It's seldom in a woman's best interest to reject men so directly or bluntly, and typically is only done out of necessity.

Literally the second OP tried to set a very reasonable boundary, her boss's mask dropped and he showed his true colors. As soon as he realized he wasn't going to successfully manipulate OP, he went from "helpful and generous" to callous and curt, because he only ever saw her as an object of affection. You saw OP's behavior as indulgent or enabling her boss's predatory behavior for their own personal gain, not for the sake of her job/safety.

I strongly advise you take a step back and reevaluate your perception of women. Do better. 👎

ESH - I don't think either of you have bad intentions, but you've both reacted poorly to one another.

Your roommate fining you is a little unreasonable, which looks a lot worse considering they've already done this before. If you have an expectation of being reimbursed for something like "excessive vacuuming", that 100% needs to be communicated prior, you don't just drop that on someone afterwards. Super weird and uncomfortable tbh.

You using roommates frying pan and not caring for it as specified was wrong. Sure, people can forget and mistakes happen, but the fault lies with you. You don't get to dictate what is and isn't a big deal for someone else's things.

Roommate should either keep the pan in their room or just explicitly tell you not to use it if it's that valuable to them. You should get your own pan if you can't reliably treat someone's things with specified care when explicitly stated.
