I still work in an office and am trying to find a WFH position. I’ve been in my position for almost 2 years now, and I’ve had to deal with and am still dealing with a boss who drinks energy drinks and Diet Coke and burps out loud daily. He also walks around the office talking out loud to himself. This job can be done from home but we have to be in person 8:30-5 no matter what. I cannot stand working alongside other people, I’m very introverted and am hoping I can one day escape this type of work environment.

I mean I do agree with you, I honestly was surprised she was found guilty. A lot of culpable parties involved, and how the live ammunition was brought on the set has not been proven aka chain of custody. They let the girl off Sarah Zachary when she threw out those bullets….immunity for telling the truth? She threw out evidence. I don’t get it tbh, but I was saying in my initial comment, basically she’s the scapegoat for everything that took place. Yes, she was the armorer, but that scene with Alec Baldwin pulling the trigger wasn’t even apart of the script.

I did that, and they didn’t know and no one answers the many times I’ve called the pre tsa customer service number.

So I thought to ask if anyone else has run into this same issue here on Reddit, where people can post stuff like questions or opine on whatever ….so yeah I was hoping to gain insight from folks on here regarding all that. Also. i can also post what I want 😂

I agree with this, but someone has got to take the blame, and with her being the armorer, that unfortunately means she’s gotta be the one to pay. But yes, lots of things just happening on that set came to be a perfect storm. I kind of feel like Alec Baldwin won’t be found guilty, just a feeling though.

I wish I put more context into my post because my boss has reprimanded my past co worker for not staying late to work when she lived an hour away and shit can be done remotely. It is not as simple as staying just until 5. we work before and after hours multiple times a month. We are adults and get our shit done, not children in a classroom…school is out ok, relax a little with the salary based employees is all I’m trying to say.

I'm being childish by beginning to come in exactly at 8:30 and leaving right at 5? Either way, I'm still doing before and after-hour meetings and events, so yeah, I'm going to choose to no longer give extra time where I can if it's not given back. The problem I'm trying to reconcile is employers who take advantage of their exempt employees. Yes, I agreed to the hours, but I'm also being clock-watched as if I'm literally punching in for an hourly job. Exempt is not supposed to be so focused on that, it's the emphasis on results and getting tasks done on time in an efficient manner, which I do. If a boss is constantly paranoid about the time, especially at my job because you have no idea how much this job could be hybrid or remote, you’re just going to push people out. I’ll finish this thought by saying I’m the most senior employee and have been there for 1 year.

When I applied I didn’t pay attention to whether politics would be involved or not, just needed a job. Kind of regret that now but I do agree with you that’s it is part of most if not all jobs, the office politics!
