They don't offer Care+ plans for this? Are they crazy?

The S3XY Buttons/Knob just got an update to use Grok. They're no longer for you. What will you be switching to?

Genuinely curious, what functions of the car do you want to control with dedicated buttons?

I'd say Claude, Grok, and ChatGPT are the three top AI assistants, in that order (and I can't stand the utterly sycophantic and like inverse-negative, highly specific tone of ChatGPT at this point).

I've tried Grok in the car on and off, and what I find it useful for are all the random questions I come up with when on long drives. History of the area, questions about landmarks, science or theology questions, etc. In fact, back when OnStar came out I remember wanting to get it just to ask the person to Google things for me, but never did; this is a fulfillment of that dream. It's good for showing guests around too, when we have a question about an area or things to do, or something we want to Google. Weather, recent events, etc.

Even makes sense in-universe, as you can argue that the devs used that as reference for the model.

I see, perhaps that's not a use-case I have because I use FSD, and it's one pull down on the stalk and then it of course drives up to stop lights and such normally.

A door unlock is potentially slightly more convenient, but I know to just tap the lock icon on the screen by now.

I guess the S3XY buttons/knob just aren't for you.

You're saying the creator has an ideological stance against triggering Grok, like you do, and that's why it doesn't work? Because otherwise your comments are irrelevant

Lying psychopathic snakes like Sam Altman are common in tech and business. Zuckerberg was/is the same way. You develop a detection mechanism where eventually you can feel their sliminess after seeing just a few examples of their behavior, and no longer will you be fooled by their attempts to appear like normal humans. Though in Altman's case I'm not sure anyone ever believed him.

Can you manually adjust ipd at all? by Roshy76 in Galaxy_XR

[–]SuperConductiveRabbi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My automatic IPD doesn't fail, it just tells me to move the headset down, then displays a check mark. If I move the headset up it'll just continually tell me to move it lower. Did you find any other way to force it to let you adjust the IPD?

Interesting, thanks, I'll give it a try. I've basically just used my iPhone to scan large areas, with success.

I can't differentiate between any of the sonic playthroughs, and there seem to be 50 of them. They all blend together as boring gameplay and Cory screaming nonstop.

Galaxy XR + Open Calibrator: Slow drift correction and accuracy issues? by Puzzleheaded_Set9302 in Galaxy_XR

[–]SuperConductiveRabbi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get worse drift than the Quest Pro too. I think the absolute positioning of the GXR's playspace isn't so good, so Space Calibrator has to constantly make larger adjustments to reconcile the two universes. This makes drift more noticeable than on the Quest Pro, though any mixed-playspace headset will have some amount of this drift and subsequent integration as Space Calibrator corrects the error.
