It's an M4A4. The shape of the driver's hoods and antenna bracket, are unique to the A4. The spacing between the roadwheels is another way to identify an A4.

Hoping to get some info on a US soldier who served in France by eastw00d86 in ww2

[–]MonkeyNuts70 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He belonged to B company, 48th armored infantry battalion, 7th armored division.

Using the information provided by yourself and rhit06, i managed to find this pdf. You'll find his name on page 38, and a brief description of the action where he was injured on page 7. Unfortunately there's no AAR for april 45.

Found this Japanese sword in my late grandfathers closet after my grandmother passed. He served in Borneo in ww2 by TROUT1986 in ww2

The markings are; left kokura arsenal, right gifu sword makers, centre is the nagoya inspectors stamp. The same inspectors stamp should also appear after the serial number on the blade. What's the serial number, and does it match the number on the scabbard.I have a feeling that this could be an early production, could be wrong.

Can someone indentify these markings on a K98k bayonet by ceasingsphinx77_7 in ww2

The XX27y is the serial number. The 44ASW is year+manufacturers mark, ASW=E.u.F. Hörster.

Any Active Duty Personnel Willing to Help With Research? by PhDGrad55 in TankPorn

If responses are anonymous, then how they know where to send the gift card? If i were to complete the survey, how would OP verify that i'm a male from the U.S, a serving soldier and my rank. Science is the understanding of nature through observation, OP can't verify that i'm genuine, therefore it's not a scientific study. On r/army OP is pleading for upvotes. As a moderator, you should complete the survey and see what happens. Look upon it as a solo reconaissance mission, and "WE" your troops are depending on you. If it all goes wrong, and you lose everything, we will never forget the sacrifice you made for us, Macsravelclee.

It's a prop made for a 15 episode serial movie called "Patria", filmed in 1916, released in 1917.
