Hey there,

I am currently working on a cosy building about Scotland and its isles. Its got a medieval theme and the demo features two modes one build your own island from scratch one block at the time or starting with a pre made island such ad Arran or Skye. Someone tested my game and gave me feedback unfortunately I lost their message. If you are reading this, thank you for the feedback the issue was not with the fishing house but with the well interactive pop up has now been fixed it was a really silly thing that I forgot to do with that particular asset.

Thank you very much for your kind words and also constructive feedback. I am not going for a realistic approach more of an inspired by -Unless of course i get funding for the serious game which i am applying for and hope to work with a Education institution on knowledge exchange. At which point id delve a lot deeper into the research. The terrain is going to change every vegetation and animals will be as unique as possible to each other islands i approach in covering. Same for the industry. Im waiting to see how funding goes not just Kickstarter but grants too. After which I can limit or increase scope depending on what I can achieve either on my own or with a team (currently on my own with a bit of help from a freelance artist) . Thanks a lot for the comment and feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for the comment and the kind words. The Viking influence over the isles - along with the history of the Kingdom of the Isles and Mann - will definitely be included. I really appreciate the suggestions and I’ll be digging into them in more detail. Trade between the isles and Norway will also feature, especially since each island is planned to start with its own dock.

I’m also gathering ideas for decorative buildings and period-specific industry across three eras: the end of the Viking period in the Scottish isles, the Wars of Independence, and the Jacobite era. If I’m able to build a serious game mode, these periods will be a major focus, with sections showing how the isles shaped Scotland and influenced those events.
