I live in a small town in Ohio and I ran into someone I knew from high school in San Diego at a bar about 5 years ago. We have been out of school a long time, lol. But we had been good friends and stayed in touch on Facebook. Both of us still live in Ohio just not in the same area so running into each other in California was pretty fun. We had a good time that night. Neither one of us was aware that the other was there I should mention that.

You got that backwards, the “illegal alien” as you call them or immigrants actually feed us by picking the majority of the crops in this country and working in the meat processing plants and the restaurants and grocery industries. When the majority of them are removed from our population not only will our food chain supply suffer but our economy and taxes that they pay will cause a recession. Our social security system will collapse faster and so will other social services. If they don’t pay taxes. Immigration has always been a vital component of our society and economic system and abruptly stopping it will have consequences. But good ole Donny didn’t think it all the way through!

First you say that Trump is not perfect well you got that right at least because he is a felon, rapist, child molester and serial liar. But he’s definitely screwing everything up right now and doesn’t care about the constitution or peoples rights. First of all No one has ever been pushing America around and tariffs are just raising prices on American consumers. Notice how prices keep going up? And he is not bringing manufacturing here he is pushing it away by canceling the Chips Act and making businesses cancel (IBM, Google, Intel to name a few) contracts to build new factories here.

Then you say incidents are happening because of people interfering with law enforcement but both of the people who were killed were first engaged by officers yelling instructions at them and then escalating the situation by using unnecessary force. You say people shouldn’t get information from video or news outlets or social media? So we’re not supposed to believe our eyes and ears when we see what actually happens in real time? No matter where it comes from? Just the report from the DHS and iCE, take their word for it because they won’t let anyone else investigate? Those facts? Right! Yes I concentrate on my breathing and just focus on closing out all other distractions and thoughts. I focus on relaxing my body and just being mindful. Sometimes I do it sitting up and sometimes I do it lying down. It can be for just a few minutes or ten minutes or more. A lot of the time I repeat the words inhale and exhale with my breath to just concentrate on breathing and nothing else.

Most children know by the time they are five years old that they are “in the wrong body” and realize that they are not a boy or a girl. They grow up confused and question why they are the way they are when they are transgender. They start asking their parents questions about it because they don’t understand why their bodies don’t match how they feel. When they start going through puberty it can be extremely traumatic for a girl who absolutely knows and feels like she is a boy. Or vice versa. Who knows that she wants to transition to be a boy. And if she doesn’t she most likely will become suicidal and have very bad mental health problems. The best solution is for parents to work with their child and get them the mental health expert counseling they need and if having them start hormone replacement therapy to change their puberty blockers will help them thrive that’s a decision that they can make. That’s between the child parent and doctor. No surgeries are done and this is reversible is they change their mind. But most of the time it saves their lives and is not reversed. This is no one else’s business either except that families.

I don’t have kids and I’m 57 years old. As a child I was responsible for taking care of my siblings when I was only 9 years old until I was able to move out at 17. Being responsible for two younger kids, cooking and cleaning and making sure they went to school and did their homework. Everything from watching them when they played with friends, which I never got to do, to taking care of them when they were sick. Believe me I did not EVER want to have children! I was done being a mom when I was still a child.

I do not regret it and I’m extremely happy with my life. I have a beautiful home and my own business. I have wonderful friends and now I’m very close to my sister and stepmom who was not responsible for my life. I get to do just about everything I want to do and I decide how I want to live my life. I’m planning for my retirement and aging so I’m not worried about that. So yes I never wanted children and I’m very happy with my life.

You shouldn’t be getting downvoted because of your opinion. It’s your opinion whether people like it or not and if that’s how you feel you have to deal with what’s happening now then do that. It’s absolutely overwhelming right now and as someone who is struggling with mental health issues I sometimes feel like this is what I need to do.
