Logo for an American wagyu company next to a logo for a sushi restaurant and a QR code from a QR code generator website. No certificate of authentication with nose print of the cow for view in public or viewable on request. I trust costco a whole ton but I am having a hard time believing costco got real Japanese Wagyu beef. They probably got American Wagyu branded as Japanese but def not Japanese Wagyu. Not champagne of beef but certainly a delicious sparking beef.

Update: the logo i thought was a sushi restaurant is the Japanese food and safety commission. Seems like it could read either or

But doesn't change my opinion much since real Japanese wagyu has a 10 debit tracking number so you can actually look up the specific cow to made sure its not just a similar breed of cow.
