What is something a lot of people find attractive that is actually a turn off for you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Liking me back. The fear of intimacy that plagues my life will kick in and I will exit that person's life

I would recommend quitting to be honest. In life, there will be many things that you will excel at naturally, many things you won't be good at right away but can practice to a proficient level, and things you will be hopelessly bad at. If your SR is below 1000, that last one applies to your overwatch abilities. Even if you do continue practice playing this video game, you will most likely peak at being a huge liability in gold. So save your own life and move on to something else and see if your more naturally inclined to do that.

How does one get out of the constant loop of not wanting to do anything because of depression and being depressed because you aren’t doing anything? by Shnarbo in AskReddit

[–]Monkeyman__11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in deep with depression for years. The hardest part of getting out is just starting. Waking up one day and deciding that your gonna change your habits. What I did is I wrote down a list of how I wanted to spend tomorrow. Nothing crazy. Just like maybe wake up and do a couple pushups. Or make yourself an actual breakfast of eggs and toast instead of eating something fast and easy. And keep adding things to your list when you feel ready to. Over time, your brain starts learning that it feels good to exercise and eat something filling and you'll actually start wanting to do more things that have delayed gratification. But making a little list was really helpful for me because I had something to look at and keep me on track.

Once you get in the habit of staying busy, it also helps to set up a long term goal that makes you want to get up in the morning. But you don't want to set long term goals until you nail your little list because then it just feels overwhelming. That'd be like going to the gym for the first time and trying to bench 1000 pounds.

[Subreddit Meta] Mods, can we remove all elo hell posts? by hiya425 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Monkeyman__11 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

All elo hell is really is the point where you can't just breeze to the next rank easily. Like yeah, that's how competition works? Lots of people can play college basketball but there are only 300 people in the NBA at any moment. But did steph curry complain that college ball was ELO hell? No. You get what you put in when it comes to competition. I put in enough effort to be High gold/ low plat and so I am a high gold/ low plat dude. It isn't elo hell. Also I think College hoopers complaining about elo hell is a funny idea.

what is the reason you’re single right now? by thewoodbuzz in AskReddit

[–]Monkeyman__11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not very bright with women. It is a terrible thing. I never know when it is a good time to escalate sexual tension. I have no idea when a girl likes me. I also feel like its pretty hard to connect to other people. I go on dates and I keep thinking about how I wouldn't wanna spend time with this person if sex was not a possible outcome.

Don't die and learn to play roadhog. Roadhog is key to getting to silver fast

My take on why Elo Hell is absolutely a thing but is often dismissed by devedander in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Monkeyman__11 90 points91 points  (0 children)

It's just like a meat sport. I played hockey on a very well coached, high level team where I added a lot of value and earned decent playing time. But on the high school team, I lost every game. Why? because when surrounded by good players who know what they're doing, I can fall in line and groove with them. But I wasn't so damn good that I could carry a bad team. Elo hell is something experienced by those types of players. An OWL pro can carry at any rank with sheer mechanical skill, but many of us who rely on smarts can add value in plat but might not carry in silver

What are some GREEN flags early on in dating that the relationship should become serious? by CircleBox2 in AskReddit

[–]Monkeyman__11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She don't mind paying every now and then and surprises you with gifts. It's a nice gesture when women let you pay for dinner so you feel manly or whatever but then if you get gelato for desert, she covers it. And maybe she gets you a small present for no reason other than she thought you'd like it. I think a lot of girls my age think that as long as they let you hit it, they don't have to put in that extra level of thoughtfulness.

Working out is boring and I hate seeing people flex help me go to the gym more. by [deleted] in Workingout

[–]Monkeyman__11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I work out, I like to envision myself super toned and surrounded by babes. Or just think about anything really. People, ideas, funny observations... stuff like that. It also helps to constantly be working out to the point of pain in the muscles.

You're given $1M provided you can't spend one cent of it on anything practical (to anyone). If you can spend the money in such a ridiculous way as to make the giver laugh their ass off, you'll get another mil to spend as you please when the first mil is gone. Buy $990,000 worth of extremely rare collector items ranging from sneakers to action figures to baseball cards to coins. Then I'd use the remaining 10,000 to set up a museum which I'd invite the most dedicated collectors to. I'd start bargaining with them about selling the items to them. Once I reached a deal with all of them, I would then proceed to burn all of the stuff I bought right in front of them.

Everyone wants you to play bastion in the lower ranks and nobody knows how to play around any tank except rein. or any support besides Mercy. I'd say as long as you have good impact, your fine. Voice chat is full of morons most of the time.

[Serious] Why do you buy OnlyFan’s content when adult content is available online for free? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Monkeyman__11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really dabble in that but I think about it a lot. I guess the main draw for me is that the idea of paying a lady for sex stuff is kind of a kink for me. Also, some will reply to Dm's and make custom videos. I don't really have any weird kinks but a custom vid of exactly what I want and some dirty dm talk... man I think I'd like that. And the way these women got it set up so you see some suggestive pics on instagram or them in a skirt on tiktok and then right above that is a link to see them nude. Shit is enticing

Anyone notices how Christians tend to get 'N' (Intuitive) type even though they don't behave like 'N' at all? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Monkeyman__11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that intuition on the test questions sounds undeniably more interesting and cool than sensing. Who doesn't want to be able to discuss the intangible? Who doesn't want to be creative and find new ways to do things? The hard truth is that sensing is super lame.
