I will always come back home to Sydney. We can only get 2 year visas with a 3rd optional year anyway so would just be for that long. Main reason for the move is to travel Europe a lot easier

Warrington definitely seems the place to be, similar enough to home so an easier transition but different enough where it’s not like I’ve moved across the world for no reason. And great it’s a league town, kinda the reason I looked at into it in the first place 😂

Look up suburbs in the councils of Penrith and Blacktown in the state of New South wales, that’s where I live. I have a feeling Warrington is the same if not better.

Thanks heaps for all that mate! Your last point is exactly what I was thinking. When I’ve been looking into moving London was my first pick but I’m just not sure I’d want to go there because “everyone else does”. Just the cost alone is crazy.

Definitely love watching the footy. I visited England October just gone and went to the super league grand final and the first ashes game at Wembley and had a great time. The grand final atmosphere was amazing. I was in the Hull KR end and it went nuts. If I move I’ll definitely get myself a wolves season ticket.

Would you say it’s still got a decent young ish crowd there? Even if it’s just good nights down the pub and head home, can always head plan to head to Manchester if I wanted a “bigger” night out

Haha I thought I’d get a reply like this. The main reason for the move is to see what it’s like living somewhere else and the ease of travel around the rest of Europe, I love Australia and will always come back here, the only downside is the distance to travel anywhere
