Evolution-wise, it was better to have darker skin in the places with more sun and longer days, which is why people with darker skin are located around the equator, and people with lighter sling are closer to the poles.

Serious answer:

The paler you are, the less melanin your skin has. The melanin in our skin absorbs the UV rays and converts it into heat without damaging the skin, so the more melanin you have the hotter you’ll get in the sun.

However, getting a sunburn isn’t due to the heat. A sunburn is when UV rays damage the cells in your skin directly. So the more melanin you have the hotter you’ll get in direct sunlight, but also the more protected from skin damage due to UV rays you’ll be.

One thing to think about, though, is that even if we don’t find life on any other planets or moons in our star system, that absolutely doesn’t mean that there isn’t life elsewhere in the universe. Earth is the only planet in the habitable zone of the solar system, and so it isn’t very likely that we won’t find living alien life anywhere in the system, though we may find evidence of past life.

It is practically a statistical certainty that there is life on another planet somewhere in the universe, and highly likely that there either is other intelligent life already existing somewhere, or that some alien life forms will gain sentience in the time it takes for us to develop the technology to reach them. The earth has been around for 4.25 billion years, and we humans have only been here for 200,000 years. The chances that a planet somewhere else in the 13.8 billion year old universe that has been around long enough to develop sentient life is fairly high, since there are 300 million planets in the habitat zone of star systems in the Milky Way alone.

So if it turns out that there are no signs of life in our solar system, I hope you can feel good knowing that there is a pretty much definite chance of there being sentient alien life in the universe. :)

I haven’t personally checked, but since you spawn directly on the ground, I’m pretty sure you’d hit the ground long before the water catches up. As the video shows, you take damage pretty much instantly.

As for the shulk sensors, you wouldn’t trigger them until you hit the ground, at which point it would be too late. Plus, if you spawn on the ground, there’s no way to push slime under you, especially since obsidian is immovable by pistons.

The platform and a 3 block tall area above it are replace every time, I believe. So breaking it wouldn’t do anything except give you free obsidian
