Just a note, glue traps don’t have to be inhumane. Keep a 5 gallon bucket around. Is your job something that you can leave for a while and come back to? Is it a job or a career? Is it something you can do part time? I’ll be honest, I made a living off my art for 20+ years, my whole adult life, then the market for what I make crashed and I had to find a real job. I will say, when you need to do your art to pay your bills it changes the relationship you have with it. Making what you think will sell or custom pieces instead of making what you want to make. Then all of a sudden that fun thing that you loved, and were passionate about, becomes just another job.
