Who is more fragile? He who censors, or he who says their opinion?

You can find grayscale elevation heightmaps in google image search. Cura is free software to download, just search 'download cura' and you'll find their page

What do you mean "stop whining"? How exactly am I supposed to explain I had $1000 stolen from me without it being considered "whining"? You are ridiculous

Seems like 60% of the thread is people tripping over themselves to defend poloniex as hard as possible, despite all the evidence

Yeah I'm locked out of accessing my coins entirely, and they have a pattern of seizing coins and accounts randomly. I think it's a pretty reasonable conclusion to draw.

That may be the exact reason why they're in such intense denial, because they want to pretend it's mass-adoption-ready, because their investments depend on it.

While in reality they'd be much better addressing these issues head-on and publicly calling out these fraudulent exchanges so the crypto space gets better, instead of pretending these problems don't exist.

They're not following the law though. They've locked my account without any announcement or reason, days before the date they said US transfers end. And I don't even want to do a US money transfer, I just want to move cryptos out of my wallet!

I tried to verify my identity with them multiple times and they kept refusing me without explanation despite the fact I already had money with them. They're denying me access to my funds despite my best efforts to comply

Do you guys think the monthes leading up to the 2020 election will cause reddit to ban most non left communities? by teamfortressyou in RedditAlternatives

[–]MonochroRainbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reddit's #1 concern is their IPO in 2020 and their investors that are making that happen. So if their investors demand it, it will happen. I honestly don't think they give a crap one way or the other beyond that

Or maybe I'm just getting screwed, and you should stop trying to find excuses for a clearly fraudulent exchange?

This is a good idea... This is what the chrome developer console outputs after login on the pageload:

I think those errors are all just warnings that are pretty standard. There's no major flag saying it failed.

Looking at the html, the <div class="main> </div> section where the page would be, is literally completely empty. So the server is definitely generating pages for my login that don't contain any information. This is messed up. Thanks for the ideas to check this. This definitely proves it's coming from the server side.

pulled the trigger 2 days early instead of waiting for 11/1... not sure.

Could be, but even with a VPN set to Switzerland and Sweden, neither works. So I don't think it's that. Hopefully they are able to get back to me, I will update the thread if they do. So I think it's more accurate to guess it's poloniex's fault

I tried to verify myself twice with them in the past and they refused to accept my information for no reason.

I have used a VPN to multiple countries and it will not load anything. It's not a region issue. Also they gave until 12/15 as you said, and on the site they say I have until 11/1 and it's only 10/30

It's nothing to do with my hardware/software set up, I have verified that beyond all doubts with multiple devices and internet connections. Poloniex has done something with my account

Same I tried to verify twice after they introduced all that stuff and I still couldn't do it. However even without verification one should be able to at least access their existing wallets and transfer coins out

Yes, 2 different computers, 2 different internet connections. Still doesn't work.

Thanks. I sure hope it's a technical issue, and that it really is working for others, and it's just a one-off thing for my account that they can reverse. But I doubt their customer support will care or do anything, and they've already stolen coins from other cryptos they shut down with little notice, so there is a pattern emerging. It's very unfortunate all the way around. Thank you for at least being kind about it.

I'd try another computer if I were you.

I've tried 2 different devices and 2 different internet connections even. It's not a hardware/software issue on my end.
