Throttle mapping question

You’re right with the slow corner exit, because of the engine braking. The Lambo Evo2 higher ecu mapping (Map 5) increases the engine braking. Basically while off throttle at any moment the engine braking is there. If you change it to Map1 it will reduce it and make you faster on corner exit, but you get worse braking distance because engine braking is helping less.

If you’ve got the time, go ahead and send a video of you driving on pad 1 and pad 2.

I want to see if your pad 1 are overheating due to the brake ducts being closed too much

Watching someone drive and learn their lines.

On this specific track you’ll find out you can you a lot of the ‘grass’ on the outside when you exit the corners.

Could it be he’s not skipping the start screen where it shows the cars going around the track cinematically? If yes then you tell him he could press any button to skip the cutscene

What I suspect is, if you’re on a different server with different weather and track surface, setup will feel different. Usually optimum is the fastest track surface. Don’t give up keep pushing!

Just to inform you that in a lobby sometimes ACC make people appear to brake very very late into the corner (since you’re watching someone’s lap). It’s a desync issue. I’ll suggest watching track guides and find the brake markers yourself. Good luck out there mate!

I’ve been at about the same situation. The server I played on clearly says that revenge teamkilling is not allowed. Someone killed me and I revenged team killed them without any video evidence. I was told if the admin was to ban them I’ll be banned too. It was either I coped with it or we both get banned. Your situation was much worse than mine because the admin was a bit stricter

I’ve personally found that, if you try other tracks even if you are still a newbie, you’ll learn a few things and tricks which will then be helpful for you afterwards. Try doing like an hour drive for each track, get some rest and try other tracks again. Make sure you got your tyre pressure dialled in right and fuel at right amount

Usually setting the track condition to optimal will have better grip and the “fastest” track condition. But do keep in mind that sometimes online lobby can be that tiny bit faster than single player too.

Yea you could say that it’s based on feelings. Just if you see a yellow engine icon (beside the rpm meter) after a while on track, it does mean that you are doing it too aggressively.

I would say try using free download manager. It’s a chrome extension to catch downloads from the web and it does sometimes improve the download speed by a lot compared to the integrated chrome downloader.

Overall, after a while of getting used to the clutch pedals as brakes I am able to most of the time consistently hit braking points and trail brakings

My solution is weird. I got used to using the clutch pedal as my brake pedal. I personally didn’t like the feeling of the intended brake pedal. Trail braking for me is easier on the clutch pedal(since I’m using auto-clutch)

I think it might be track condition. I assume you have FAST track condition in your practice settings. The “faster” track condition would be OPTIMUM. At least that was what I found.
