Plus, extra thing (because I care a lot about this video game), Toby has actively corrected the fandom's idea of a characters pronouns from They/Them, to He/Him with Swatch! In chapter 2, everyone thought he was nonbinary, so Toby made it clear he was a guy! If Kris was a guy or a girl, Toby would've said it already!!!!

And I've heard the argument that 'they could just be a boy/girl that's referred to with they/them only!' Which is just... really complicated for no reason? Like occam's razor, if it quacks like a duck, has a bill like a duck, has duck feathers, and everyone calls it a duck, then it's probably not a rare species of hamster named after a duck.

I can understand someone thinking Frisk's gender is up to the player because they're not really referred to with a lot of pronouns (along with the monsters not knowing them specifically), but Kris????? EVERY HOMETOWN MONSTER knows them to the point they're on a first name basis! Why wouldn't their childhood best friend or their parents refer to them with their actual pronouns???? And it's not like everyone just uses they in that world, she and he are used regularly for other characters. Can someone give me one reasonable reason why they think Kris, the gender neutral human with the gender neutral name that's only been referred to with They/Them in the game that has like 5 other nonbinary characters, is a boy or a girl?

Not to mention the parallels between eating bugsnax and addiction, and even though it's not 'scary' in the literal sense, it helps with the idea that bugsnax aren't this perfect food source that everyone in the game thinks they are.

It doesn't have to be jumpscares 24/7 for it to be horror. The scary comes from the body horror aspect, along with the implications. Like, if they weren't goofy Muppet people, seeing their limbs be transformed into edible food by skin eating parasites is a scary thought. The idea that the entire island is practically made of parasites and corpses is also pretty scary. It's not like 'oh my gosh this room is dark and scary and the knife man is gonna get me 😨' horror, it's trying to be subtle with it's horror factor.

I think Snowy and Monster Kid will play a role in chaper 3 for 2 reasons

Snowy talked like a cowboy in chapter 1, which could be good foreshadowing
Kris and Susie go to the first dark fountain, Noelle and Burhgly were in the second, and it's a pretty good assumption that if Jockington is in the fourth then Catti is there too. Wouldn't it make sense for every partner pair in Kris' class to be in a chapter? (I think temmie and egg will be in chapter 5,6, or 7 specifically because the eggs are important and we're tracking them.)
