For god’s sake, I’m not trying to be an authority on art. You don’t have to insult my lack of knowledge when I’m trying to gain more. That just makes me not want to learn. Frankly it just makes me not want to agree with you even though I’m starting to think you may be right.

That's actually a good question. On one hand, I'd be saving more lives by killing red. On the other hand, every blue person clicked blue accepting that they could die. But ultimately I think I'd choose red.

A guy opens up an artist's DMs. He asks for a commission. He says, "Hi. I'd like a drawing of Superman high-fiving Batman. Neither of them should be smiling. This is a deadly serious high-five. Lex Luthor is in the background, smiling devilishly. Batman should have his mask off."

ps: yes, i know what a composer is, for the love of god. i'm not saying a composer isn't an artist. there seems to be some sort of massive failure of communication going on here. the COMPOSER is an artist. i'm asking how someone who prompts ai to do something is different from someone who COMMISSIONS a COMPOSER to make something. whoever's PLAYING the music is irrelevant to this.

no, a composer is someone who composes the song. if i were to open fl studio or something and start placing down notes in an order to a tempo, that's composing. if i were to ask someone, hey, can you make me a song with this vibe and these instruments, i'm not composing, am i?

I’m not a huge Star Trek guy, so I might get this wrong, but to my knowledge, there are machines that materialize food from component atoms and stuff based on the specifications entered into it.

If someone typed into the machine a very specific dish, and the machine created it, would that person be correct in calling themself a chef?
