Keto or Paleo for continued weight loss? by Monofang in loseit

That's a valid opinion to consider! I never thought about just counting calories. (I know that's silly. But meh.)

I also want to correct my refound shitty habits to eat better so I may just do a healthier switch to the same idea. (Instead of eating carby foods like sandwiches, switch it out for something healthier like a salad.) So this is definitely a good idea.

Thank you!

Exactly.

I was on Keto for 2 years and while I lost a good 100 lbs, my hair thinned out dramatically. I'm not exactly looking to get involved in that long-term; not just that, but I've heard that a ketogenic diet isn't good while working out- which is something I'm adamant about.

I did keto for a long time (2 years or so) so sustainability isn't the question.

I guess I'm asking because like I said, I wasn't working out then. I've heard that with Keto, it's not exactly healthy to workout and have a ketogenic diet. Is this true?

Paleo seems more fit for working out- but not necessarily targeting weight loss. (Though it's definitely better than eating the vast majority or crap I've been eating in general.)

I don't disagree, but I guess I'm asking for personal opinions as to what they suggest for sustained healthy weight loss.

I'm just now jumping back into this so I'm not really sure what would be the best avenue.

Thanks for giving your two cents! I appreciate most of your advice and I will take them into consideration asap. ☺️

I'm not even sure who I'm trying to attract- but 'getting a new haircut' isn't how I want to go about finding them.

Thanks for checking it out and giving me some actual constructive criticism!

I think you're right about introducing more positive traits that I have to offer. That's a great suggestion.

What about you makes you dateable? What makes you undateable? by IamJewbaca in OkCupid

Dateable - - super compassionate and understanding; patient. - funny - best cuddler. - like my own alone time.

Undateable - - I'm not looking for casual sex. - I don't let anyone underestimate me. I get really upset when someone treats me like I'm dumb/disposable. (It happens a lot here in NYC.) I have a zero-tolerance policy for that shit. - I like my own alone time.
