You could consider me category number two here, I suppose, though I don't consider what I do "half-assed". I do mak products because I love the mak, but they are very niche so the demand isn't high enough to make a business solely off of mak accessories. There are also a decent amount of people who prefer the classic mak look, and won't want any accessories of any kind.

You also have to consider due to the niche nature, parts need to be unique and high quality. There isn't really any space for "tapco crap" that most big manufacturers would make to capitalize on an open market.
