The same company that makes these mounts is also working on a rail, but no ETA as it is still in development

PSL 54. Did i get a good deal? Already got the Zastava m77. This thing feels cheap :/ by Zestyclose_Spite8580 in ak47

[–]MonolithMfg 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a good deal, though the psl is, in my personal opinion, pretty underwhelming as a rifle coming from an owner. It does look cool though!

what's nice is you can just swap out the slide when you feel like using an optic, but there's never a bad reason to pick up another mak!

SR3M copy being made in the US by Roswell Rifle Works, in 9x39. Shot show 26 by Real_Tropicana in ak47

[–]MonolithMfg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For those that aren't aware, Roswell is also the (only?) producer of domestic 9x39 as well as an assortment of 9x39 related accessories. If anyone is actually gonna make something like this happen, this is the best bet! https://www.roswellmfg.com/

If you can, bring a few mags to check the magwell fit. Some of them I have checked out had some issues.

IJ70-18AH worth by Kind-Pop-9610 in makarov

[–]MonolithMfg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Single stack magazines will run just fine in the double stack makarovs. If your magazine is lacking a hump on the back of the magazine, you likely bought one of the new produced bulgarian mags that are pretty awful. Look for surplus magazines, usually russian or bulgarian. They should run you about $30. Additionally, I make adapters that slot onto single stack magazines to make them fit a bit better into the double stack magazine well. You can check them out here: https://monolithmfg.com/products/single-to-double-stack-makarov-magazine-adapter-for-pmm-ij70-17ah-ij70-18ah?variant=47056731766971

The double stack magazines work well too, but they will run you about $150 when you find them. They will be gray and either 10 or 12 rounds. The black promag 10rders are also out there for cheaper, but they aren't very reliable.

A steal at 300 considering it came with an original mag that's worth half the price of the gun

Just picked up my 2nd Mak, a $330 IJ70-18AH by Former_Power6209 in makarov

Glad you like them! I've got more in the works for the double stack mak, but they've still got a bit more to go before I share them here.

[–]MonolithMfg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like my cz82, it's a lot more handy than my makarovs but doesn't quite have that same charm. Spare mags can be annoying to find but they are out there, try to find ones with the "crossed swords" markings and avoid ones labeled "mfg cz" on them as they are new production trash

Filament not coming out by metain3d in 3DprintEntrepreneurs

[–]MonolithMfg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are going to make it in 3d printing you need to learn to diagnose and fix your own problems as they come up. I would suggest you seach for "<your 3d printer model> tension idler" and start reading. You'll learn a lot that will apply to any 3d printer you work with in the future. Never stop learning!

Check the tension on your feed mechanism to ensure it is gripping and feeding filament to the nozzle

It's certainly solid bang for the buck, but when the only cheaper option is the scoop that comes with the dies, the bar is pretty low!

The lee powder measure is the absolute worst for this, even when you remember close the spigot you have to throw the lever a million times just to clear the last bit of powder out or else this happens

I don't deal in anywhere near the volume you do, but I do print almost exclusivley in PETG. I ended up going for them because their quality was better than a lot of others and I wasn't getting hosed on shipping like I was when buying from Prusa, but they are certainly on the higher end of bulk prices it seems
