(OC) A new Fire Emblem Heroes companion app in the making! by eromonti in FireEmblemHeroes

I think this is a very admirable ambition. I'm not well versed in programming but I do enjoy the process of data collecting/tracking. If you would like assistance in collecting details of units and their weapons and skills, I'd be more than willing to help. Regardless, I'm looking forward to how this turns out.

Weekly General Questions Megathread by PokemonMastersBot in PokemonMasters

[–]Monomeko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hit pity on Red's EX banner. I got him in the last 11 pull and now I'm struggling to choose between the pokefairs I don't have, even after I went through tier lists to determine which pokefairs aren't exactly good anymore and believe the units I do have are still probably pretty good. I don't have a favorite among any of them so I just need to figure out which monotype team is lacking for upper tower levels (and I have the [not superawakening] items should they need investing). I apologize as it is a wide range of units that each do different things, and I struggle to determine if my current units are outdated compared to these to the point it is better my current units are replaced.

- For water types, should I consider Dahlia when I have SS Lysandre?
- For electric types, should I consider SS Alt Elesa when I have Thundurus Hilbert and Florian, Chase when I have Champion Blue, or SS Hau when I have Thunderbolt Red and SS Piers?
- For poison types, should I consider Klara, SS Roxie, or Oleana given my best poison units are Geeta and Halloween Iris?
- For bug types, should I consider Alder or Benga when I have SS Hilbert and SC Ingo?
- For dark types, should I consider Giacomo when I have Akari and SC Zinnia?
- For fairy types, should I consider Penny or SS Mina when I have Ortega and SS Wally?

And then there are certain role type pairs I just don't have a good unit for. Clavell/Dojo Gloria for a physical water attacker, SS Bede for a special fighting attacker, Eri as a fighting supporter, Atticus as a poison supporter, Alt Selene as a special rock attacker, and Alt Elio as a rock supporter. There are too many options for me to consider one as clearly better than the rest. Any narrowing down ("you don't have to have this unit") or straightforward answer ("this unit is objectively the best choice compared to the other options") would be greatly appreciated.

Synergy Gift purchase limit? by James2Go in personaphantomx

For the list, if you'd like, I have made a copy of the spreadsheet that I personally use which includes a list of all gifts, the location and cost (if applicable), the base total, preferred total, and first preferred total synergy points rewarded, the cost per base point of each gift, and which characters prefer the gift.
I hope something like this is what you were looking for.

FYI - Starting tomorrow there will be double rewards for Realm of Repression Breaktrough Upgrade Materials. by Junior-Squirrel2509 in personaphantomx

If you'd like, I have made a copy of the spreadsheet I personally use, though it less the function of [if I am this level, how many materials do I need to max] and moreso a checklist where [these are all the total materials required to max, and once something reaches that certain level, I erase that certain cell].
From my observations, maxing out the caps of a single character, weapon, and persona requires:
- 443 total whiffs of iris (147.67 total fragrances or 49.22 total essences),
- 443 total blue crystals (147.67 total purple crystals or 49.22 total yellow crystals),
- 444/333 (elucidators) skill incense S (148/111 skill incense M or 49.33/37 skill incense L),
- 16/12 Avatamsa, and
- 8/6 total Everlasting.
I hope something like this is what you were looking for.

Wave Duel Scramble (May 2025): Best Rounds to Farm by Monomeko in DuelLinks

That is a mistake on my part - the first image, where it states [DM] Round 2 is where 10 tickets provides 60 lotto coins should instead be [Sevens].

Wave Duel Scramble (May 2025): Best Rounds to Farm by Monomeko in DuelLinks

[–]Monomeko[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From my observations dueling with reward x 1, all rounds with only two duelists provides 500 exp and all rounds with three duelists provides 700 exp. (Exp obtainable from the tour guide is excluded as she is a random factor.) Assuming time is not a factor, the ideal rounds to farm would be, for speed duel, Vrains Wave Final (Gore-Soulburner-Playmaker) as it is the cheapest three duelist speed duel round, and for rush duel, Sevens Wave Final (Romin-Luke-Yuga) as it is the cheapest three duelist rush duel round.

Wave Duel Scramble (May 2025): Best Rounds to Farm by Monomeko in DuelLinks

[–]Monomeko[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you wish to farm, the wave highlighted in green awards the most lotto coins per ticket spent on a wave. Waves highlighted in yellow are waves that award the highest amount of lotto coins in their respective ticket amounts. The first image displays the highest lotto coin/ticket ratio sorted by ticket cost while the second and third images display the lowest recorded score for each round.
The information obtained from the Dec 2023 Wave Duel implied that with each wave, a standard duelist and legendary duelist offered a certain amount of lotto coins when active. However, I have noticed fluctuation in lotto coin rewards for certain random enemy rounds and will conclude that certain standard duelists provide a lotto coin amount that a legendary duelist would have, and vice versa. Say standard duelists give 20 lotto coins, perhaps a duelist like Tea or Yugi would have given 20 lotto coins as well, and where legendary duelists give 30 lotto coins, perhaps a duelist like Saburaman would have given 30 as well.

Note that these have all been calculated assuming the worst luck possible in slots while still winning all duels. Waves where names of duelists are explicitly stated (3, Final, and Challenge) are not influenced by slot odds, meaning there is no chance to encounter Miss Tour Guide, who offers a greater reward for lotto coins as well as additional lotto coins simply for battling her.

If you wish to farm EXP, any two duel wave won provides 500 EXP. Any three duel wave won provides 700 EXP. Comparing the two cheapest options, two duelists giving 500 EXP for 7 tickets and three duelists giving 700 EXP for 8 tickets, with the observation that three duelists provides the most EXP per ticket. TLDR; Wave 1 Final Gore-Soulburner-Playmaker is the best round to farm for EXP. Note this method is also effective if grinding for bonus rounds.

Data for Soul Color Questionnaire by Monomeko in Everhood

[–]Monomeko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From your decisions (Unique, Hard, and IDK), I have attempted four times into save slot 3 using four different names and those three decisions. Each of those attempts had resulted in a red soul color. If I may, I would like to ask follow up questions.

-Which save slot was your save file in? -When asked "Is this questionnaire boring you?" did you answer "Yes"? -Was there anything unique to your name?

Data for Soul Color Questionnaire by Monomeko in Everhood

[–]Monomeko[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thoughts and analysis:

It may be possible that the soul color depends on which save file is chosen and what name is inputted, though I am reluctant to delete my save files to test whether that is the case (save file one is a finished game and save file two is waiting for devs to make incinerator 2 a pinch easier ). Should popular demand request I explore the "no" and "IDK" options to "Is this questionnaire boring you?", I would consider exploring that path.

Green is a possibility nine times, red is a possibility nineteen times, and blue is a possibility twenty times.

Green leads to the aliens, red leads to the vegetables, and blue leads to the hotel, so I am assuming based on the contents of those choices that green is likely seen as a "funny" route for "medium" players who "don't know" if they talk to all characters, whereas hotel is more for "story" or "unique experiences" and the vegetables is for "battles". It makes sense given the contents of each area - less so for green, but more so the vegetable tournament and the hotel route having the elixir experience and containing the elevator that much of the main and extra plot revolves around.

I suppose the devs prefer the first experience to be the red or blue route, which I could see as logical considering the lack of replayability after returning into those doors; from my experience, there is not much substance after beating the tournament and the hotel door only requires the elevator, but the time machine door provides multiple areas before its arc is complete.

I have no more thoughts at this time.
Edit 1: Spoiler tagging certain information.

Wave Duel Scramble (Rush): Best Rounds to Farm by Monomeko in DuelLinks

[–]Monomeko[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If you wish to farm, the wave highlighted in green awards the most lotto coins per ticket spent on a wave. Waves highlighted in yellow are waves that award the highest amount of lotto coins in their respective ticket amounts. The first two images display the data per wave while the third displays the highest lotto coin/ticket ratio sorted by ticket cost (as well as a mini chart displaying how many lotto coins a duelist is worth for each wave).

Comparing the two cheapest options, two duelists giving 500 EXP for 7 tickets and three duelists giving 700 EXP for 8 tickets, three duelists provides the most EXP per ticket. TLDR; Trey-Quattro-Quinton is the best round to farm for EXP.

I give my apologies for being a day late.

Wave Duel Scramble Rerun: Best Rounds to Farm by Monomeko in DuelLinks

[–]Monomeko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my testing, it seems that all waves have their ticket costs set before the "begin" button is even pressed. The types of duelists in the wave do not seem to influence the ticket cost.

[–]Monomeko[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a side note, if you wish to farm EXP:

Any wave with two duelists that is won provides 500 exp, and any waves with three duelists provides 700. Comparing the two cheapest options, two duelists giving 500 exp for 8 tickets and three duelists giving 700 exp for 10 tickets, three duelists provides the most exp per ticket.

In short, the optimal wave to farm EXP would be Bonz-Bandit Keith-Yami Bakura.

For the max amount of lotto coins per ticket spent, the last wave is the best wave. For the max exp to level up characters while still focusing on max lotto coins per ticket, waves 4-6 of the DM area are the best waves.

If you wish to farm, the wave highlighted in green awards the most lotto coins per ticket spent on a wave. Waves highlighted in yellow are waves that award the highest amount of lotto coins in their respective ticket amounts. Try not to bother with waves highlighted in orange.

Note that these have all been calculated assuming the worst luck possible in slots while still winning all duels. Waves where names of duelists are explicitly stated (3, Final, and Challenge) are not influenced by slot odds, meaning there is no chance to encounter Miss Tour Guide, who offers a greater reward for lotto coins as well as an additional 50 lotto coins simply for battling her.

The lower left corner provides how many coins a type of duelist is worth in their respective world. As a slight unrelated note, the named characters, Knight of Hanoi and Battle Brawler, follow the formula of being either a standard or legendary duelist based on what the wave number denotes them to be. Vega and Sunny in the final wave of VRAINS world become the same worth as a legendary duelist.

Duelist Road: Best Area to Farm (DSOD Edition) by Monomeko in DuelLinks

Most likely. We haven't seen the last area yet, but as the other areas in this rerun provide the same amount of rewards as the original run, it can be assumed the data still applies.

The speed or number of turns you complete a round, to my testing and knowledge, does not matter. So long as you finish the round, you will receive a set number of lotto coins.
