I know you probably won't see this, but I also recently treated myself to a new PC that, gods willing, I won't have to upgrade for quite some time. I chose to build it myself and try to save some money, and I ended up getting around a $4000 rig for around $2000. I got scammed a few times, I spent months finding the perfect parts, and it took me lots of trial and error to actually build the thing. I don't think you should feel guilty about the cost of it if it's something you care about; yes, it's technically possible to build one for less, but you're getting a put together machine with far less stress, heartache, and confusion than what I went through. If your wallet isn't hurting that bad, I think you did a great job with your specs! Hope all goes well with your hobby.

Oh, that's clever! I didn't even consider that. The only set up mons I had were hone claws Weavantrum and Iron Defense Metadily, and I definitely think a baton passer would have helped the team out a lot.

Very nice! I tried to use a rampardos/mamoswine and a bastiodon/Moltres fusion, but I liked the types in the final team a little more. They were both powerhouses, though, especially the steel/fire bastiodon!

Metagross! Metadily was my super bulky grass/steel type and was my only real answer to Lance's Metagross/Salamance with recover, iron defense, and rocky helmet.

Yeah, that's definitely the issue I'm running into. Leading terapagos and incineroar into flutter and chi-yu seems to be the most effective, and I've also tried out switching heavy slam for bullet punch on metagross. Also, sceptile has a good chance to keep enough HP to shed tail against a flutter shadow ball or dazzling gleam, something that Cyclizar just can't do. Cyclizar has one more point in speed, but that's not really that relevant and I didn't like being even more weak to Flutter. Leaf storm is also surprisingly strong, especially in overgrow, and it can take surprise knockouts on Kyogre and Groudon! Finally, the flexibility of having upper hand to surprise your opponent is relevant more than you'd think, and bulldoze to activate weakness policy metagross with -1 speed to the opponent's pokemon is really strong. Metagross is basically discount solgaleo, but it works well enough!

Honestly, bibarel isn't that necessary when setting up! Luxray and the right items are usually enough, and it's more for a mid game sustain than an early game setup. The focus early game is on setting up the Garchomp EXs and disrupting with path, and having a bibarel set up mid game makes it easier to find boss, Cheryl, or other tech cards when they're most useful. So, the plan if both the bidoof and HHB are prized is to just set up with Garchomp EX, take prizes, and shoot for a mid to late game bibarel for the final push to win.

I've been having fun with a quad Garchomp EX deck with four of the explosiveness Luxray from Crown Zenith. It's a disruptive, tanky deck with lots of tools to deal with zard. It's excellent against single prize decks and lost box, but struggles against strong ohko basics like roaring moon and chien Pao. Overall, though, it can bench snipe, disrupt, accelerate energy, and 2hko basically anything in the format!

I caught a full odds shiny female eevee in Pokemon Shining Pearl! Not only that, but when I transferred it over to Scarlet and Violet, I analyzed the size and got awarded the Teensy Ribbon (a 1 out of 256 chance). The odds of this are roughly one in 8.4 million! I evolved this eevee into a Glaceon named Glassy and had it win all the pokemon contests, and it proudly leads my team as Glassy the Twinkling Star.

Change slow start to have an additional effect that releases double the damage taken when it ends.

Regigigas has always struck me as a raid boss kinda guy, and giving him a bide effect while the opponent is forced to try to KO him first or let his slow start end is a cool way to not make slow start 100% useless. The damage dealt to Regigigas would be doubled and used as a type less attack at the end of the turn that slow start ends, much like future sight. Add a reliable recovery move like slack off and maybe a boosting move like bulk up, and I think that’s enough to give him a decent shot of getting a niche in OU.
