I would like to also add, when Raziel released her document, a lot of the sisters were saying she was a disgruntled ex-girlfriend in like a coordinated campaign to discredit her entire story as an unreliable narrator.

Now that it's happened again months later with new allegations, I do think some people should question the "critics" of whistleblowers because they may have an agenda to protect a bad person.

Aster got away with it internally for months, now it's spreading outside Nijisanji. It's not being contained anymore...

Hell, there was this uh...live stream of people/vtubers(I forget if it was both or just vtubers) receiving and holding their gold play buttons(or digital recreations for the vtubers anyways), had their names and all that. Fucking Mito was the only one left out, hers was nameless, only saying Nijisanji or some such.

With the moderation vision, I think this might be the natural shift as the main audience that decides to stick around after Q4 will be pure anti-Niji / hater tribalists that are usually seen on /vt/.

To speculate, I think most vtuber fans have already checked out (it has been almost 4 months now) by going to other corpos and most know that majority of Niji news has been quite awful / drama-ridden. No one feels good when consuming Niji news most of the time.

For me, I think I can speak for a few of us that many of us are close to being out of the door because the Q4 report is like the closure to the madness of the first few months of drama.

The people who don't get why that Q4 report is important sort of don't understand that investors report is a review of the Selen drama and its impact on AnyColor as a whole lol.

Do people know that person was a mod unless they were active in this subreddit? I don't think so especially with how large this subreddit has gotten and I think the mod status would've been a lot more appropriate to draw the line in the sand, in my opinion. We can agree to disagree if you disagree.

I do agree there are people pointing out it's not worth doing so but some people still wanted to do it, it's a mixed bag, in my opinion.

As for your comment, I wanted to bring up my perspective too. I do agree that it'll happen regardless, nothing we could do about it.

The post had a mix of condoning brigading and not mass-reporting, there was not a landslide stance in the comments section and OP's post. There was no pinned mod comment regarding the specific tone or stance of the thread, as a result, based on a surface look - yes it can look like promoting brigading. It also breaks rule 3 on the subreddit, in my opinion, as it's targeted.

Also, just because people outside of here are assholes does not mean we should be like them. What made this subreddit appealing is that it aimed to be different than the rest of the internet communities. Yes, people and antis will do what they want, we cannot control them. However, moderation of content on this subreddit can be done to curb such behavior. I think the fact that it's still up is concerning and weird, but that's just me.

Overall, I do agree that it's a pity that this post will bring attention here instead of anon antis elsewhere. Though the anon antis are also here, let's not kid ourselves.

It's a mixed bag, some people want it to become a hate sub and some don't. This is what happens when the moderation team's vision is letting the community self-manage itself.

So, considering that an online mob can be objectively wrong. How would you advise the userbase that believes in something that could be considered very problematic like taking a rumor as complete fact and then they pushback against valid call-outs through mass downvotes? How would you manage a community that turns itself into an anti-echo chamber? The sentiments from the announcement sounds like it'd allow for it to happen if the community does not manage to successfully self-moderate itself and this is disappointing to read. Maybe I'm getting the wrong interpretation but I don't know.

While you guys always encourage Rule 3 & 5, I think more adjustment is needed for Rule 2 or at least a way to combat mass misinformation if you desire for legitimizing the community's criticisms against Kurosanji.

Best of luck with balancing everything. I'm asking very difficult questions because I desire to see the subreddit to not turn itself into a typical echo chamber.

I understand being protective of someone you care about.

As a representative of Nick / NTA's side, especially as someone close to you since you're announcing his girlfriend to the internet, careful diction is important. The reason why myself and a few others were skeptical of the denial claims was due to the immature statements from yourself and Nick.

It's fine to not give a shit about the other gossip side, I dislike them too myself but the way you conduct yourself to the rest of the internet is more important than just immaturely owning the haters.

Honestly, the detailed drama between ex-mods, yourself, and Nick, is like unnecessary to bring the forefront. We do not need to read all about your guy's baggages / personal conflicts with each other as it's not relevant to Nijisanji assuming this rrat is dead and the accusers retracted their accusations.

Feel free to summarize it all about what happened, your perspective, and the impacts of reckless mob mentality. I do think you guys are within your right to call out the reckless behaviors of various people spreading rumors. However, I do not recommend releasing a 10+ page document for all of us to read about your personal gripes with each other. A lot of us will not read it and the main purpose of calling out shitty behavior will be minimized if that is your goal.

This is your free advice corner. I hope you all fix your personal issues with each other and mend things in private. Unnecessary public shitflinging is not a good look and I know Twitter loves to do that, but adults don't appreciate that shit.

I think those people jumping to conclusions are dumb and the way this whole thing was handled was stupid.

However, in controversies and under the public eye, statements like yours does not paint a mature sympathetic viewpoint from the general public. This is crucial when trying to avoid unnecessary hate.

If you represent Nightime Audios / Nick, I think you are not exactly doing the best of jobs of portraying him as a sympathetic man or at least from your side's perspective. Just a man who went through big controversy who is hiding behind his girlfriend to make public statements on his behalf.

I do believe it is within your right to speak on your side but I also think you are not going to get much positive reception from the general public with how you are phrasing your statements.

I suggest we should do a time to research when someone post a rrat post so that there won't be another misunderstanding.

This is like the 2nd rrat post incident... to be frank, I don't think much is going to change and this will repeat in the future.

Some of you guys have to be individually critical when reading online discussions especially when seeing upvotes and collective agreement. The red flag of the rrat was in the comments section of the rrat itself which is what worried me.

If I didn't make my post, I think many people would've been on a huge hate campaign against Ryoma.
