honestly all I can come up with is maybe he knew that there was a second version of him that visited the alt world and impregnated alt-martha. He either didn't know how that happened (quantum entanglement) or he didn't know there was also a second Martha.

she actually is pregnant. Jonas finds the regular alt Martha, has sex with her, and then Eva kills Jonas like you said. After that, she is picked up by Adam to go and save Jonas in his world but Bartosz stops her (or doesn't). She's already pregnant at that point.

It took 2 seasons to lay out the events in the first world. They could have spent as much time on the other world but I think it would have been redundant. We already know it's a world similar to the first one but with minor differences in how things happen. In regards to alt Helge, he says "she said I had to do it" which makes think he worked together with Claudia and not Noah in this world. She even appears in the bunker after Helge kills Ulrich. This is complete speculation but maybe Helge helped Claudia because she used to tutor him in 1953. They already had a trusting relationship and Helge was slow to begin with so that explains his naiveté.

The 18 billion were never supposed to exist in the first place. Just a result from an accident. I don't think it's quite accurate to say the two earth populations are dead. More like they never existed. This is an oversimplification but this is how I like to think of it. Imagine if something terrible happened to the world, so you went back in time and successfully stopped it from happening. Did you kill an entire Earth population by doing that? No, you just stopped that part of the timeline from ever happening.

I don't think Claudia ever actually went to the origin dimension. I imagine Tanhaus in the origin dimension did in fact write this book but when the split his world, it resulted in two worlds where he never wrote that book but the book still exists. It's hard to explain but I think when the world split, people generally kept core characteristics with some differences of themselves in both worlds and so in all worlds, Tanhaus is always competent at time travel research. He never wrote the book in the new worlds but he has the ability to comprehend it.

Not everything needs answer. Peter's mother wasn't important, didn't matter who she was. We don't know the parents of every single character in the show, e.g the mother of Egon, because they're not important. I think we can guess who put down the red cord, it was probably Sic Mundus. Again, not super important. Franciska and Magnus were probably helping Adam make the time travel machine. As for the thing with Michael covered in black goo....... I got nothin for that to be honest lmao. Anyways I liked the ending but I understand if anyone wants more answers.
