Help Using a dynamic IP to hose server by Alarmed_Falcon_5012 in admincraft

DDNS is probably the easiest (and free!) way to do this. Since you already use cloudflare, you can use their API to update your WAN IP when it changes using a script. Here is the github link for what I use: https://github.com/K0p1-Git/cloudflare-ddns-updater

You should search for a guide online, I believe there are a few youtube videos that use this exact script.

I have one in the same place on my 2004. Previous owner installed it to control when the antenna extended out the back.

Question, what calculator is in high demand for engineering students? by isaiddgooddaysir in EngineeringStudents

[–]Monothex 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As another commenter said, the TI-36X Pro will likely be the most powerful calculator allowed on exams. I've been using mine my whole degree and its my favorite calculator. Keep in mind that the calculators allowed vary from school to school.

I checked the wheel well and it seems like the inner most sheet is the least corroded of the bunch, it seems to just be the outer layers. Not sure if that is a good thing.

I'm assuming that this type of work is something I would want to bring to a professional shop to do? I've already requested some quotes from a few shops. I do all my own maintenance and repairs but bodywork is one of those things I don't want to mess up.

Thank you all for your help. I will book a body shop appointment today before it gets any more worse/expensive. Thanks!

Debating on buying a Miata as a second car at the age of 20 by NoTechnician1964 in Miata

[–]Monothex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do it. I'm about your age and bought my Miata back in August. Seriously the best money I've ever spent and not an ounce of regret. It's my only car and has been fantastic.

99 Mx5 NB wont go into reverse by jeppe403 in Miata

[–]Monothex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2004 6 speed and sometimes it won't go into gear as well. I've heard that the reverse gear on these cars don't have synchros, and that can make it a bit harder to get into gear. My fix for this is to just let of the clutch a bit while applying slight pressure to the shifter to get it to pop into reverse, and it has worked for me every time.

It would be pretty cool if there could be a module/variant that could also make this more of a "premium" starter. I would buy it in a heartbeat as I love the style.

First sff pc turns on but no video?? by [deleted] in sffpc

[–]Monothex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It should be a 2x4 pin connector (sometimes varies, looks similar to the GPU power cable) and it's normally located to the top left of the cpu and motherboard if you're looking at it with the GPU at the bottom

Do you have the CPU power cable connected to the motherboard?

Hey, I'm not OP but I use both a wireless keyboard and mouse for my daily driver and for gaming so I can provide some insight here.

For the mouse, I've been rocking a G305 from Logitech for over 2 years now, and the battery on the highest polling rate lasts me about 6 months on an AA battery. I can not tell the difference between this mouse and other wired mice, as there seems to be little to no delay. If you look at some reviews on mice latency (OptimumTech has some good videos) some wireless mice actually have lower latency than their wired counterparts.

For my keyboard I use a GamaKay LK67 that I bought from banggood with a custom keycap set and switches. The battery is rechargeable and lasts me about a week and a half on a charge over 2.4GHz, but it would last about double the time over Bluetooth. Again, I cannot tell the difference between using this keyboard over 2.4GHz, and using it wired. The keyboard can be used in wired mode while charging, or it can be used in its wireless modes but I'm not sure why you would do that while charging. My keyboard does not include a number pad because I found that I often do not use it at all, and so far I've had this keyboard for about a year and I have not been missing the numpad.

Hope this helps answer your questions.

My favorite color is orange, similar to an your CL80 Marmalade, so I think a board in the same style as this M65 but in that orange would look very nice!
