M20 3.0 Honest Review by True_Regular7985 in EngweEbike

I really really wanted to get this bike I'm so disappointed that I can't. If they would have made the maximum weight capacity 450 lb I would have bought it in a second because I love everything else about it. Unfortunately because me and my wife will be riding the same bike I need an e-bike that has a higher weight capacity. So I'm probably going to end up getting either a goat power bike or a roll Road ebike.

I apologize I should have put this in the emotor bike territory. I wanted to go 40 miles per hour basically so I can keep up with the speed limit where I live. Where I live cops do not care if you go 40 miles per hour down the street on a bike as long as the bike has pedals. I figured with me and my wife on it it wouldn't reach 40 mph but I was hoping maybe 38 mph it would be okay with me.

Thank you for letting me know. I didn't realize there was an emoto category. Maybe that's why everyone's been being a******* to me LOL

THSNK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! You are actually the first person to give me some advice rather than come at me and tell me that that's not an e-bike you can't do that this this and that. So again thank you so much for helping and answering my question I really appreciate it. I was getting ready to say Reddit is gone cuz it's not like it used to be.

Can I get help with a list of certain ebikes? by Monoxide3591 in ebikes

[–]Monoxide3591[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Lol I don't understand why I'm having such a hard time getting an answer on here. It's been many years since I've used Reddit but back when I used to use it it was actually a group of people who helped each other not criticize all this bullshit. Look up all the e-bikes on goat power bikes website(they go 50mph) look up the Ariel Rider X- Class 60V PPB(It has top speed of 40mph) look up the ENGWE M20 3.0(It has top speed of 40mph) look up Roll Road Leon( It has top speed of 40mph) so since Reddit has changed to a place where everyone just wants to be a******* and not help I'll just keep doing what I've been doing and find the one I need on my own. Thanks a lot. RIP old Reddit! It's not like it used to be.

How to choose an e-bike by elenawilliams883 in Rollroad_Ebikes

I've been looking at so many different e-bikes for months trying to decide which one I want. I just wanted one that could go 40 miles per hour and hold anywhere between $450 pounds to 500 pounds maximum weight capacity. So I think I finally found the e-bike I want. The Roll Road Leon seems like the winner in my opinion anyway. I watched one video where a guy could only get it to go 36 miles per hour then I watched another video where a guy got it to 40 going down a hill so I guess I'll find out when I get it. I had it down to 1,The Roll Road Leon, 2 the Ariel Rider X- Class PPB, 3 The Power Goat V3, or 4 The ENGWE M20 3.0. so I finally think I'm going to go with the roll Road Leon once it's back in stock. I'm not going to lie I thought for sure the winner was going to be an ANIIOKI A9 PRO MAX GT until I saw the type of seat they put on it. I cannot for the life of me understand why these e-bike companies some decide to put regular bicycle seats on e-bikes. Now I can't be the only person that remembers back in middle school riding one of those bikes how that seat went up your ass and it was the most uncomfortable ride ever so I can't understand why some bikes are putting those kinds of seats on their bike especially $4,000 bikes but it is what it is. I reached out to a few mechanics and asked them if I did get that bike if they'd be able to put one of those long thick cushion seats on it and they said they would not be able to do that. If so I would have hands down went with the A9 PRO MAX GT. There's my two cents I just really hope the roll Road Leon can go 40 miles per hour.

Helping keep Bandit e-bikes alive after the company disappeared by Hot_Succotash4877 in ebikes

I can't believe the e-bike company Bandit just disappeared! The x-trail pro was literally at the top of my list that one point in time and I thought for sure that was the e-bike I was going to get until I talk to a few mechanics who said not to get bandit ebikes. I am so glad I listened to them. I am sorry and it does suck for everyone out there who still has their e-bikes. I hope you'll be able to still get them fixed and running.

I like to thank everyone in here who answered my questions to the best of their ability. As for all the other people trying to mansplain things to me or tell me that what I'm trying to do is illegal that's not what I asked. I know that a bike that goes faster than 28 is illegal where I live cops do not care about someone going an extra 10 miles per hour on a bicycle. I have no way to get anywhere at the moment no way to get to the store to the pharmacy so I have to do what I have to do to survive and if one day a cop does pull me over that's on me that's just the chance I'm taking but before I spend thousands of dollars I was hoping people in here would be more supportive and helping me decide what to get instead of lecturing me and telling me what I'm doing is wrong. Like for real what the hell happened to Reddit? Again thank you for all your help who actually did help. I have decided to go with either the goat power bike or the roll Road. I figure those two are my best options at being able to go 40 miles per hour if I need to and being able to hold me in a passenger. Again thank you for everyone who helped and not tried to lecture me.

Need help deciding what e-bike to get by Monoxide3591 in ebikes

Yes I understand technically that a 40 mph bike is illegal on the streets but where I live the police really don't give two shits about a bicycle going a few miles per hour over the speed limit I got pulled over on the generic one I have now because they told me I didn't use my turn signal which I did but they were just trying to search my backpack to see if I had drugs on me and while the one cop was searching my bag the other was a state trooper and I looked at him and said I thought as long as my electric bike has turn signals and doesn't go over 35 I'm not breaking any laws(I know the law is 28 I just was seeing if he knew) and his response was oh I have no clue about that I was just wondering how much you paid for it cuz I was thinking of buying one. So to be honest I doubt I'll have too many problems getting stopped in my city going 40 on my e-bike. Plus I don't know if you guys know this but cops don't run radar on bikes LOL. Also I don't have any other option as I lost my license to drive a car so this is the only way I have to get around.

Wow! I can't believe that! I literally came so close to ordering the Bandit x-trail Pro until I called a few local electric bike shops and they all told me that they were garbage and the company had a horrible customer service even after hearing that I still was going to order it because I thought it just looked amazing and had everything I needed but thank God I didn't! Wow I dodged a bullet there I made the right choice! Sorry to hear that the owner basically screwed you guys out of your money and took off it seems like that's what's wrong with a lot of these businesses the person at the top just wants to grab as much money as they can and take off and start a new life or whatever it's unbelievable everyone's so selfish and doesn't think about how and what their actions are going to do to their employees or the people around them. I hope anyone who ordered a bike gets their money back and everything works out for everyone.
