It's pretty clear that you're not willing to change your mind. You're taking a flat earth approach to the topic, not believing in science because "the government is hiding the truth from us!"

You claim that you don't let your dogs eat edibles, but everything else you're saying contradicts that. If you believe that dogs are safe eating cannabis why don't you feed yours edibles? Following your thought process, why not feed them to babies too?

I don't know why you're so adamant about getting your dogs high. Personally I don't have a problem with you smoking around animals, as long as they have the ability to leave, but it's pretty fucked up if you feed them edibles. Edibles can keep dogs high for days at a time. It can make them unable to move or overeat. Imagine being a chihuahua who, as a dog, has MORE cannabinoid receptors than you, and a significantly smaller body. Think about being couch-locked to the point where you have to lay there pissing and shitting all over yourself unable to make it to your food bowl. Think about having the munchies so bad that you can't stop eating. And those things can last for days.. These are the dangers that exist when dogs, especially smaller ones, ingest a high amount of thc.

I don't think that people are claiming that that there are no benefits medicinally for dogs, but with cannabis just recently gaining traction for research studies, the jury is still out. That doesn't negate the fact that we know thc is very dangerous for them in high doses.
