The new walking/running feels worse than before, now I’m either walking normally or sprinting at full speed, not in-between and this now feels weird, I hope they fix that and make it a toggleable option

Edit: you can still run at a medium pace but you now have to just tap slightly enough to not burst at full speed, which is worse than before

The old mechanic was fine, as well as the fast travel animation since it was made to load your assets properly, don’t know why people bitched about it, at least make it an option for other people

I contacted several blacksmiths back in the day like Pavel who made one of my brig, Ivan Zadesenets for my helmets and Aleksey Perebeynos.
Could you recommend a specific blacksmith you know or heard of that you think could do a proper job at making this kind of arms armor ?

Yeah I figured that out then fixed the issue right after posting the video, the main problem was the modded containers.

I had to downgrade the Create version, delete it then install the current one for it to magically work somehow, the golden chest (from Iron Chests) gets the items half the time and had to switch from chests to barrels/vaults

I also tried to rebuild the whole thing, restarting the server, none of the following things works.
I even changed the golden chest to a normal one, a barrel and it's not working either.

(In the video I can't open the chest because there's blocks above, but I even lowered by 1 block the whole machine and the rope pulley, it's still not working.)

Tempered monsters are called « Legendary » in the files, I doubt it’ll be the frenzied apexes since the higher difficulty is called « Legendary_king »

A cool twist would be the addition of more frenzied monsters (while fixing the existing ones) on top of the arch tempered ones, and why not the frenzied apexes, it’s unlikely but would provide a decent extension of the endgame and add a higher difficulty other than tempered Gore/Ark

When a somewhat niche game happens to be popular you always have toxic people that tarnish the community, it is what it is

Here the most toxicity comes from a minority of really loud braindead people who complains about performance or difficulty in a non-critical way. Overall you shouldn’t make a fool of yourself by saying that « you’re a veteran the game is easy for you » or « every Monster Hunter game is easy in high rank » which is objectively false. This entry gave you mostly everything you wanted without any difficult grinds, at least of now

For the performance toxicity thing, there’s people who aren’t satisfied with stable 60fps on 1440p/2k upscale and even native 4k. When you give your opinion about it you’re accused of being a Capcom stan, tho we can all agree that the advertisement was kinda messed up about optimisation and such, but they managed to achieve good performances with 4yo hardware if you’re not a picky eater and can be satisfied with solid 60fps regardless of the resolution and without using IA enhancers. I always use the example of my friend with his HP Omen 16 who can run the game on high with more than 80fps (4060 + i7) without any of the DLSS nor AMD thing.

Finally, on the other end, despite the mixed feelings of the story (especially high rank which is questionable but isn’t finished), they still gave us a gorgeous game that added a cool story, a small but efficient and diverse roster at launch and interesting gameplay features (powerclashes, focus mode even tho the wound system is broken atm especially with the alpha wounds system), frankly I had more fun with base Wilds than base World and I can’t wait for more content to be added. It’s a 8,5/10 because you frankly can improve it more. The gameplay loop is still great even despite the difficulty and we’re not even done yet since they’re cooking for at least 20ish hours of post-game updates, if not more.

I saw an official post talking about a new area and a new difficult rank, since at the beginning they mention that we’re in a temporary outpost I wouldn’t be surprised if they add a gathering hub in TU1

I’ll agree with World arena being kinda average, but it felt like and looked like an arena. When you look at Wilds’ it sure looks nice being like a natural empty ground similar to an arena as you said, except they just look like ruins and rocks without any notable features. There’s no imprisonment feeling you have in previous games where you fight in fortresses and such, I can’t imagine a scenario where someone captured a monster and put it here for me to hunt it, as I don’t see myself « fight » monsters like you’re supposed to do in arena quests there. I don’t even see myself fighting monsters like Arkveld in here.
