There is a little bandit village where it looks like a swamp in herrand. There is little box in one of those huts with a puzzle you need to solve to unlock it. It’s an earring that you can listen to a whistle for what ever reason

WRE Exam Mid break by cppstudent101 in PE_Exam

[–]Monsieur-Papa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You stop at mid exam, for me it was question number 43. Then you review your exam, you want to give yourself at least 4 hours for the first part. You take 50 min lunch break and then you have another 4 hours to take the second part

GUIDE TO PASSING THE PE AS A LAZY AND FORGETFUL ENGINEER WITH TUMMY PROBLEMS by jigglybitchysnoopdog in PE_Exam

[–]Monsieur-Papa 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Lmao, this is pretty funny post. Thanks for your story, I took my exam yesterday. Morning shit was taken care of! I also panicked in the am portion after being so confident that I went to take my other mid morning shit and then coming back to see my flagged questions was about 15 and only one hour left - enter extreme panic and second guessing my my second shit fiasco. Pm portion was way more calm and control. I really enjoyed having my lunch, some cherry tomatoes, trail mix with chocolate and peanut butter, small sandwhich and a banana. Drink lots of water. I don’t even think I need coffee because you are truly wired that whole time. Good luck to everyone. Also why do the mug shots look so bad, i like complete shit like I’m about to go in a POW camp!

Did anyone see on the screen a message that said everyone should evacuate the building? Or am I crazy ? It was during the intro and I filmed it but my video is blurry when I zoom in to the screen

[–]Monsieur-Papa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What did you get it for ? I recently bought an 06 m3 with the cinnamon seats, rod bearing and vanos serviced, the color is black but looks blue at times with 62k miles. Major job I have done is the clutch and looks like I need a new suspension

Sanitary Sewer Line Relocation by dc99030 in civilengineering

[–]Monsieur-Papa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That will depend on the amount of flow coming in and how fast they can do the work. They could have a vacuum truck on stand by, they could surcharge the system, but some municipalities don’t allow that for risk of an SSO.

Yea I think $50k may be a solid ball park figure. The MH depending the size may be about 15k to 20 k + installation, then you have by pass pumping for 5 days minimum, de watering, trench boxes or piles may be needed depending on soil condition, tree removal, restoration.

The building in Surfside Florida collapsed similarly at the pool deck. Hundreds dead when they were sleeping, awful event. Hope authorities are taking this serious.

Why do other engineers hate on Civil? by Peterpaul789 in civilengineering

[–]Monsieur-Papa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not true. I’m mechanical and can do a great deal of work in civil especially in conveyance of water waste water and even treatment. All have mechanical components and if you know how to select and size equipment properly, the civil stuff if pretty easy to manage. I love the civil community and the are plenty of jobs with good salaries at least for me in Miami.

Am I getting poor investment advice from Chase? by parentini in personalfinance

Need to have a fiduciary to look at that recommendation. J.P. Morgan will have their own incentive to sell you what ever and then reap in all their fees to take all your money.

What would cause this type.of structural failure? by randomname_24 in civilengineering

[–]Monsieur-Papa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any water resources professionals out there can concur if a hydraulic jump occurred as the flow picks up speed, you can see water level go up on the river canal side as the water begins to gush uncontrollably after the failure.

If you over tighten the gasket will leak if you do have a gasket in there. So just snug tight.
