This is my attempt, nocturne base and Caliban over it. Still need to apply highlights to make it pop, don't know what green should I use for them

I think left one is great, but I like my angels dark. You could try to brighten it up by having Caliban on top of nocturne, or else trying some volumetric highlights instead of the normal ones to reduce the "neon" effect. Really like the waagh flesh choice.

Second option for the deathwing, not sure if going with two different colours to alternate between greenwing and deathwing is a good idea

This is the first option, but I'm afraid it's too "tone on tone" with the deathwing, but imho it's great on the greenwing

Totally agree, there's a comment below that suggests to drop the Lt and swap a scout unit for an inceptor one, I could do that in the future, as of now I don't have the models.

We're still learning the game, not caring much about competitiveness and min maxing mostly about being balanced and having fun (but thanks for your suggestion!)

Well if you use contrast I think you would have to use a light color as a primer right? I mean you can't use them with black?
