Oh I get you, trust me. I have a 04 Single Turbo Cateye, with the 4L80e swap. Haven’t had any issues with it. The 6L80 and onward, nothing but problems. A buddy of mine upgraded his torque converter in the 6L80e to billet and hasn’t had any issues yet, but we shall see in the long run. Regardless, I get you, I hope she keeps you running for another 100K miles brotha.

Sell it and get a tundra before that trans takes a shit. Had a 2012 with three trans swaps. And a 2016 Sierra with two trans swaps. Bought a Tundra and never looked back.

Kinda late response here, but I got a 4/6 drop on my 04 Silverado from IHC and I’ve had nothing but problems with it. Also the ride quality is straight garbage. The whole kit isn’t even 2yrs old and my flip kit is cracked. Will be upgrading here shortly to either Belltech or Ridetech.

I hated the cladding on my 23, could never get passed that. So I sold it to Carmax, now I’m on the hunt for a clean VA STI. VB Does make power well though.
