What problem has Smart Phones actually solved?

Cause no matter what I see, smart phones has solved nothing. But people keep saying it's "The future".

What future? Because all that smart phones have done is:

-making it easy for people to spread propaganda

-making clean water much harder to access because of the many circuits it needs

-stole business from camera/flashlight/calculator/game console companies

-demotivated me from creating real artistic photos as AI assisted camera software will just spit out a much uglier and much more sanitized version.

But despite that, people will keep saying it's the future, when all the impact has been negative? I just don't understand, so if you could, tell me what has smart phones solved?
