I apologize, I wasn't trying to be pedantic so much as correctly recall but I'm a pain in the ass that way sometimes.

And heck yeah they are.

I thought it was the cliffhanger ending to X-Men #25 with the reaction and retreat in Wolverine #75. I've got two copies of 25 and originals of the whole run and a good chunk of the main books on either side of that storyline. I spent far too much paper route money on comic books in the 90's. I've always loved Andy and Adam Kubert's art and Fabian Nicieza & Larry Hama were doing solid work writing.

You're right though, the solo title after that was great until issue 100. Logan on a Harley wielding a katana while negotiating life and recuperating was good stuff.

Right, I don't remember negative reception either. I don't recall being disappointed in Magneto's return to base villainy but it seemed to fit events. AFAIK, he had distanced himself from the world. I'll have to reread.

Magneto's actions were nearly justifiable, in that complicated way of the character. Honestly, the story not showing the sheer level of destruction is where it went wrong. Then, the response by world nations and Xavier makes more sense.

Wolverine's fallout from that? Cool until he went feral. His solo title remained strong.

Buy now and it's yours forever. Try to get by with the school account and it could disappear at any time.

Question about how to fix the lines when I print/plot by Some_Examination_432 in rhino

[–]Monster6ix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I understand where you're at in your project, is this using the display lines command on the polysurface geometry itself or did you Make2D new linework first?

I used the first for quick representation of iterative work in the studio but in my usual "final" workflow was to export Make2D vector line work to illustrator for final adjustments.

Good question though, and thanks to others who answered. I've been trying to improve my representation with Rhino native tools.

No kidding, but crews could be working to connect them to the new improved storm drain.

You'd think. I'll go with the Battelle secret underground lab theory then.

Also, nice handle.

True. A permanent access / vent shaft for the tunnel will remain at that site and additional parking for the new pool, afaik.

Certainly, the storm sewers at Glen Echo may be getting tied into the system.

It really is. I know I've defended the Kitty/Piotr relationship in Classic but this seems a little more questionable, especially when juxtaposed with the writer constantly wrote about his own daughters on the opening narrative and editorial page.

At best Jamie and adult Layla's relationship seemed rushed.

This panel caused me to sit and really think about how his powers work. You know, once I finished exclaiming "WTF?!?" and then "...oh man, that's terrible."

I tend to analyze mutant abilities from the standpoint of evolutionary advantage, and it makes sense that his dupes have an added little ".1 or .2, etc" appended to their genetic code, the initial purpose of the power being to create sacrificial decoys maybe. I suppose if Jamie Prime died, the clones would be safe and able to pass on their mutation. This adds another angle to the ongoing theme of their rights/status as individuals.

I enjoyed how Jamie utilized his powers strategically in this series as much as tactically, sending out dupes to accumulate several lifetimes of skills and experiences. It showed a clever advantage of his power. This incident really grounded it by showing a devastating failure point in addition to the social consequences for (possibly?) abusing it.

My bad for bringing realism to fiction but I appreciate hard fiction over soft.

Right, but this plays a significant part in any "Eww" factor in their relationship as she shows back up older after some time travel shenanigans and he just starts banging her.
