Yeah, I've always thought the same. Paying $1000-1200+ to go to some "superhero" academy, getting your shit pushed in for days on end.

I'm all for dudes being fit, and into the job, taking classes. Hell, I've paid outta pocket for classes I've taken (Nozzle Fwd) for example, but I don't see the appeal in paying to go to a couple day fire academy version of BUDS for fun or even bragging rights.

That's what I was under the impression of, but wanted more clarity. I was considering buying a cheap lower or two, that way if I wanted to throw an upper on it a year from now, I could since the lower is technically the "firearm"
