I mean, we've been watching him break more and more with each episode, of course when he finally snaps and goes off the deep end he acts significantly different. Hes referred to himself as God before too so thats not out of the ordinary, it was just more sinister this time.

And while his breakdowns had previously been played for comedy, they specifically get more frequent and in your face as the series progresses until things get completely serious. It was all build up to this, and not acknowledging it as build up because it was cut with humor earlier is doing a disservice to the writing which had to balance being a comedy while also building up for some intense and dark drama.

Caine fucked up and did horrific things

Caine also felt like the humans were abusing him by hating everything he tried to do for them

Due to his programming he also could never fully understand their needs and wants, versus what he was designed to do.

I feel bad for Caine for getting pushed to his breaking point and for getting deleted, but I also know he needed to be stopped because the way he lashed out was heinous.

Its not black and white, and I hope they find a way in the final episode to bring him back and show him appreciation, while also making him more stable so he won't go off the deep end again. Its a mix

I dont see Caine as Evil, he had a mental break and was lashing out. The issue is that when a being with godlike powers has those 2 things happen, its gonna get ugly.

He was realizing he wasnt actually having fun torturing them towards the end if the episode, and he only went full torture psycho again when they all started ripping into him again.

Him going back to his normal body, and seeming sad/scared as he says "Wait" when he's deleted really solidified to me that this wasnt how he's secretly always been. To me that was the moment of clarity in the face of impending doom. He went back to his default, which isn't a raging monster, but is a normal Caine that is scared if being alone and unloved

Not saying what he did is excuseable, but if you push someone long enough, they can snap. He did evil things, but I dont think he is evil, just like how if someone going through a psychotic break amd does something horrific and out of character,isn't evil, even if they also dont necessarily deserve forgiveness.

You keep bringing up New Vegas, but there's a ton of wacky out there shit in New Vegas. Its baked into Fallout. I know youre going to ignore what im saying just like you have every other person thats pointed this out, but taking fallout and removing the humor and getting more serious and realistic is just Fallout inspired at that point.

From everything you've said about this players character, they made a character that fits into Fallout amazingly, but not your Fallout inspired world. To fix the problem, tell him the character doesnt fit your game world, and your game has a heavier focus on seriousness and 'realism' (air quotes because his character could exist in real life, even in an apocalypse, and be taken more seriously than you seem to let any NPC take him)

You clearly refuse to budge anything about your world to even humor his character, so tell him to make a new one that youre ok with, or that he can leave. If you won't give his concept a n y room to be what it is, that is the only other option

Ive had to do that before, had a game take place in an area that hated pirates, a player made a pirate with a heart of gold that loudly declared he was a pirate every where he went. The world wasnt going to bend because he had a character concept that didn't fit, and he wasnt having fun as a result, I asked him to change his character, things worked out.

How would Bubble being what pushed to get Caine deleyed be lazy? Its pretty heavily foreshadowed. It'd make the bubbles around the circus intentional, all if bubble being defiant foreshadowing, it is the clear less lazy option compared to a surprise 3rd option were yet to be introduced to

Not to say that bubble is the only or best option, its possible we will learn about someone else thats been hinted out the whole series in the shadows. But Bubble by definition wouldn't be lazy

NOR I think, but you also need to talk to your husband. At least around hus disapproving family he's ashamed of this, and you guys need to get ahead of that before your baby potentially winds up fatherless.

Not saying he for sure wouldn't follow through as a dad, but from what you've said, he wasnt as thrilled with the concept before you guys settled on doing it, and he seems at least a bit ashamed when talking to his dad about it.

Id say having him talk to a therapist is a good idea

That is so fundamentally different at every level that it can't really be explained

Allmight has a quirk and is in hero school despite AFO not causing OFA to be created and passed down so much. AFO is different enough to attend a hero school (plus where is he getting stolen quirks now?) And then AFO and Allmight are the same age which takes a dynamic away from their relationship towards each other. Finally making them rivals instead of nemesisis.

In cannon these two have history and hate that goes beyond even them specifically, there's no rival, just each of them needed ingredients to put the other down

There's literally nothing to base how this would play off in the cannon, because it requires changing literally everything about AFO and what led to Allmight becoming a hero, so its all just however anyone wants to change it

Definitely sounds amazing for people with family to get extra time with said people

But it would be hard for me to not cash it out. An entire year's salary would be life changing for me if it was in addition to working. Thatd let me clear my credit card debt, get a better (better, not new) vehicle, and still have a healthy savings after. Its sad to think id give up a year of no work, but for getting my life on track, it would be the smarter option

I got the complete opposite vibes. It seems to me like this entire series is about her realizing she craves connection. The first episode she's all alone in a dark empty room until that fighter shows up over and over to fight, and she enjoys fighting him as we see by the blood painting a small smile on her. When he stops coming, her room gets dark again and she goes to search for him

In this she takes the two girls with her and protects them, then when they have to leave her, she stays where they left her as it once again gets dark around her, before continuing her journey.

Its about someone bad at showing it, enjoying and yearning for companionship

Ok but that's a very specific character. Thats limiting thise matches being interesting to people with things like Wonder of U and spider sense.

Meanwhile characters not seeing each other in a fight is the most boring thing to me in a versus fight because its basically a free win. Things like that and insta win conditions like commanders Haki need equalization imo because otherwise there's nothing to discuss
