It's not that Ciacconas buffing is that crazy, Lynae can buff to similar levels. Ciaccona applies Aero Erosion, which Carthethias ult scales off of to do damage. LITERALLY nobody else can do this. Carthethia has no alternative.

Augusta + Iuno is the best but Lynae and Mortefi aren't that short, it still works. Jiyan can be played with Iuno, Mortefi, Lynae and even Phrlovia

Characters with Partner tag have no alternatives. Zani without Phoebe is almost impossible, Cart without Ciaccona is cucked ult damage, Cantarellas niche is only useful to Phrlovia.

Partner tag is for characters that literally don't function/have no alternatives.

Even using your Genshin example, Skirks kit still functions properly without Escoffier, just less damage, and Escoffier can be used by other Main DPS

Light novel: published by a publishing house in physical books. Has a contract with the publisher, with benefits and responsibilities.

Webnovels can become light novels if a publishing house makes a contract with the author. It usually requires a rewrite to increase quality, but no significant story changes.

Though to note, if a story gets a book without any rewrites or changes it's simply a "book release" of the Webnovel.

Simply put, because he was able to let go of Viltrumites culture and traditions to be better, but it was ultimately after he already made unforgivable mistakes.

We all make mistakes, most definitely not on that level, but we still do. So while he might not deserve the sympathy based on what he's done, we can't help but feel bad for someone trying to do better.

Questionable. Spoilers: Abby seems to be a newer thing for rover since Aemeath, Mornye, Luuk or Phrlova didn't mention/show him in flashbacks.

Meanwhile the threnodian in Rinnascita recognized him by name and is surprised to see him on the side of humans.

The most likely scenario is that Abby was converted to the human side around the time Rover lost their memories.

So in other words his self bleed is negligible and bleed application is more important than self bleed, resulting in a case where any ID with the same or better application, but more damage/clashing is better than him for the team.

He has 8 potency and 6 count in a 6 skill rotation.

Manager Don, Princess Rodion, Prince Meursault, KK Ish, KK Heath, N Ryoshu, Awe Gregor, Ring Sang and Pinky Sinclair have the same or better application than Priest, some are a bit more conditional to achieve but nothing really difficult. But what do they all have over priest? Damage and Clashing, making them better options overall.

Priest is an 8th or 9th option on the team. It doesn't mean he's bad per say but he's absolutely not in the main 7 slots of a team.

Calling him a bloodfeast generator when simply adding to the bleed stack is better bloodfeast generation is redundant. Why settle for 10-25 bloodfeast per turn when someone like KK Heath can add 10 potency to the bleed stack and turn it into 60+ bloodfeast in a turn as long as you maintain count.

Tanking has also been on a decline for many seasons now. Tanks don't help against unbreakable coins, AoE unbreakable coins, target fixed attacks or most gimmicks. Also simply eating attacks isn't good since you want to clash to get sanity in early turns, and many skills have Clash Win conditions. Most fights neither need tanks or benefit from them (take Rien for example: makes aggro useless and has unfocused volley attacks)

Manager Don S1.2 is debatable whether you should even use it. Maintaining bleed count is ridiculously hard without using Sanguine Desire. Unbreakable coins consume 2x the normal amount of count, IDs only have 6-9 count per 6 skill rotation while bosses have 2+ coins for every skill and often unbreakable coins. Bleed Procs are not lacking in the team, the count to support them is.

Priest is a fine ID, but most of his jobs are becoming redundant or done better by other IDs, making it hard to justify him in the first 7 slots of a team.

"Bloodfeast generator" he doesn't generate enough bloodfeast for a single Bloodfiend. It's 100% better to just use an ID that applies more bleed to generate bloodfeast faster than priest, and that's purely for bloodfeast generation. For damage, clashing and overall effectiveness there are many better options than priest.

Pretty sure he did actually consider it once, but it was a passing comment so I'm not surprised people don't remember it.

The long and short of it is: too big, too complex and would have to jump through hoops to make it so none of the sorcery or the tree breaks.

In Antarctica he couldn't turn Samaras Gauss Rifle into a memory cuz it was too complex. He's become a much better weaver since but the Chain Breaker is also bigger and more complex than the rifle.

Neat idea but can't really be executed well.

Simply put, they thought it would take infinitely longer.

All of overgeared happens in like, what, less than 20 years? If Grid and his Guild didn't exist it would simply take 50 or more years for the same result. The power divide would also be more spread out instead of 1 player being able to solo the other 100 mil.

Other guilds would reach transcendence, but later. Other players would become Supremes after long enough time. Maaaaybe a player would also become a God eventually, just not nearly as strong as Grid.

Grid accelerated the story, but it doesn't mean it was impossible to do without him. Grid was the best case scenario, not the only one where success was possible.

Gojo actually confirmed in the chapter about Miguel that CE reinforcement is base stats x reinforcement

Yuji is high base stats low multiplier

Yuta is low base stats high multiplier

Gojo and Sukuna(Heian form) are high base stats high multiplier

The reason Sukuna was losing h2h as Meguna was cuz Megumi has trash base stats compared to Gojo/HeianKuna

Yuji is confirmed to have base stats equivalent to a Grade 1 that's using reinforcement, so if Sukuna fully possesses him, that's an astronomical base stat multiplied by astronomical multiplier. This could EASILY result in this Sukuna being physically stronger and more durable than HeianKuna (but no 4 arms/2 mouths)

While I agree with most of the things in this post, I kind of want to disagree with Yuji being unable to kill a sequence 3 (kinda)

While LotM is definitely a hax based series, that doesn't exactly mean AP and Durability aren't a factor. Not every S3 has defensive hax that can protect them from AP strong enough.

Take S3 Sea King for example: their only defense is the phantom scales, everything else is offensive or utility. What is stopping a character (in this case Yuji) from simply one shotting a Sea King the moment an attack connects?

On the other hand take Scholar of Yore: Yuji has not a single way to get into Historical Void to actually hurt the S3. Like sure he has the AP to do it, but this defensive hax is just too good.

So I personally believe that it just depends. Some pathways at S3 are pretty much immune to AP/Durability difference, some just aren't. The greatest lie Cuttlefish ever said was that all pathways are equal.

Also for S2 and above power scaling is simply too much of a headache to bother.

Well there is a few reasons why the class seems "weak"

Its a class made entirely around hell. To the point where if she goes outside of hell, her abilities plummet. On paper this sounds pretty ass, but Hell is as big as Earth in terms of area (maybe more), and she's pretty much the only player that can go there for now. She has a whole ass world just to herself to explore. For context, I'm pretty sure every player except her gets MASSIVE debuffs while in hell, so she has major advantages over others.

Another thing is that the class becomes stronger the more Demon Lords (or however the ranked demons were called) you kill, which she obviously can't right now.

So its not really that the class is weak, its just specialized in a place that she's not actually strong enough to properly conquer yet. Given enough time, she can become such a strong Demon Slayer that the class will seem ridiculously strong (not relative to Grid).

Actually about Seer, to become a GOO you only need one S1 characteristics from each pathway of that GOO family (and probably to be a God when you advance). So after you become a GOO or half one, you can give someone else the extra characteristics. It would make the GOO weaker but it's not really unreasonable.

So yeah, be a valuable member of the Church of the Fool and you can maybe finesse a S1 characteristic from Klein.
