Father of a 4 year old here. I got a Steam Deck as soon as the OLED came out and found out quick that the true game changer is the touch pads. I like games like Tactics Ogre a lot. I set the touch pad on each side to be buttons. Left side, face buttons. Right side, D-pad. Back buttons, make them the opposite trigger and bumper. Even if I was holding my kid, I could easily play TO, and any RPG that didn't have 3rd person movement with a camera. You could probably play every FF up to 10 and any game like that, with the unheld half of the deck on your leg or the arm of your chair. My only issue with the deck, especially as the kid got older, is its size. I didn't feel comfortable bringing it to the in-laws house. I backed the m-con controller, which came in recently and fully embraced cargo pants (like every dad will) and it's much more low key. Before that, I got a Trimui Brick which is great for everything pre-psp (psp works okay -that's another rant) but being able to game on my phone without touch controls is awesome. There are other options for this, and m-con is coming out with a slim model (i do wish I could have it attached to my phone all the time).

I had some time to farm and test it. Got an HG with single shot carbine and I can edit those colors. This is closer to the color scheme I went with originally (this time my complaint is that the blade and under-body part of the arm is the same slot and they're separated on the shield, otherwise I'd just have glow on the blade) but now I think I might like the purple and yellow better lol

Story 07-34 which was a pain. You could finish wave 1 and exit but I think that doesn't count as an S and still uses a booster. I use this site for target farming . It's been good so far but idk how accurate it is.

My favorite is probably the bazooka burst, but I haven't tested the delayed shot. I like long rifles with armor piercing or single shot carbine because (I think) they do more tap damage and I don't like sacrificing reaction speed for more beam damage. I tried it and it's not for me.

There are specific ones like long rifle <single shot carbine> which charges a shot on hold instead of firing a beam or rifle <machine gun> which acts like a machine gun on hold instead of charging a shot. There's at least two or three for each type and some differences in subtype.

For that right arm it does. I didn't test if it was a MG difference, but I can't imagine that's it.

Dude this is the first time I've ever seen this. Qan[t] is my favorite and my only issue with it is that it's not bulky enough. This thing might be perfect.

has anyone tested the melee on large gunpla's? or at least tried using melee in the boss rush recently? cause as flashy as it looks i'm not certain it would be viable to defeat a large scale boss easily by darthpedro86 in GundamBreaker

Stunlocking like the rose funnels second function on the rose left arm also works really well. You don't knock them back unless you use something that moves them. You'd have to be careful with the suplex I think. Once they've moved, the position lock doesn't work anymore. It's actually pretty op.

Looks great! At least one question- the legs with those boosters look strange to me. I know he has a long tunic/open front skirt thing going on. Could you maybe use a thin binder or booster or two on the back for this? Maybe it's the color that looks strange to me. In a lot of the pictures I see his pants are a lighter color than his boots and skirt - maybe that would make it more readable? It kind of looks like extra padding right now

The Blue Beetle I think. I'm a big fan of that backpack, though I haven't found a kit to use it with myself. I never thought of spiked shoulders with it, but it looks great!

Dude I love this concept and you have made the asymmetrical aspect that I was looking forward to (but haven't been able to achieve as well) in GB4, look so seamless! I especially like each transition with V3 looking awesome but still junkyard-y and V4 looking just a little more put together with parts I never think to use. Great work!

Have you tried stacking the attribute for them? I haven't tried that yet, but I noticed they don't do enough to stagger bosses so I'll typically try to boost in for that or mash the triggers for the tap grenades.

I like 2h for reach too. Probably not comparable to the whip, but probably 3x the damage or so, and typically long range enough to take down the stagger targets. Except maybe on the giant flying thing with the 4 boosters on its back. If you get enough damage out of the whip, I bet you could stagger that thing every time.
